Hey guys, former romney supporter here
Well i didnt think i would ever say this but ron paul is now my guy.
I never disliked ron paul, as a matter of fact what made me take a second look at ron paul is when i recognized Mitt and the rest of the guys taking some of his ideas.
I cant get over that Mitt just left like that!!!
Oh well Mitts out and paul's in.
Im hoping for a warm welcome!

Im VERY into politics i love it! This isnt my first look at ron paul nor is it the first time ive been on this website. I have looked into just about every possible option. So here is alittle bit about why i decided to join your support for ron paul.
well i guess ill start by saying that i dont agree with everything Ron Paul says even though he has many great ideas. I agree with Dr.paul that iraq is more dangerous now then when we went in and that we should of never gone in. On the other hand, now that we have gone in and taken over the country what do we do? This isnt the first ime ive looked into Ron Paul, nor is it the first time ive been on this website. So i dont know if leaving iraq is the best idea nor do i think we should be there any longer then another 6 or so months.
But..... I have always praised Paul's ideas about abolishing the IRS and the CIA. I started looking into paul when i was watching fox and one of there guests said that PAul was the best choice for restoring the economy. Since then i have learned about the gold standard and how paul wanted to fix social security (something that drew me to Romney). I also caught the video on you tube of him talking to ben about the fed. I think that the CIA proved they were worthless on 9/11. And i like the idea of no income tax. What really drew me to romney was the idea that we needed to change Washington (Pauls message too, i know). I thought that Romney had a better chance of doing it and he seemed to have been risking more by saying so given his front running position.
However, MItt is gone and Paul is just as likeable to me.

Hiya sorryrom, want to welcome you, and thanks for letting us know your thoughts. By the way if Ron Paul were not here I might have voted for Romney as the lesser of evils. 'Course, actually I had not voted in 20 years and the only reason I registered this time is because I checked out some Ron Paul youtube videos at the urging of a friend and became completely inspired that we can actually return this country back to its intended path, prosperity and freedom, with nations as friends.
Just one note, there are a few emotional people onboard here that spew venom with reckless abandon, but the majority of us are thoughful intelligent people. So try not to let the few rabid ones get you down, just ignore them, they'll grow out of it some day as they gain more real life experience and/or get married, lol.

We embrace everyone. I am a DEMOCRAT for Ron Paul and proud of it..... I was pounced on for saying I was a DEMOCRAT when I first came here... certain persons who are strong republicans told me to LEAVE...
We are all supporters of Ron Paul and we want everyone to hear his message and not ALIENATE anyone.... Romney had his appeal - he wanted change and expressed it - he disagreed with us over the WAR but still the more people hear Paul speak the more his message sinks in...
