Just received donation request from my state Republican Party

0 votes

I live in Oregon and received a fear-inducing letter from the Oregon Republican Party, trying to tell me how bad it would be if the Democrats won, and if I donate, I can help the Republican party keep the White House. I took the postage-prepaid envelope, placed my own stamp on it to save them the cost, and place a 3x5 card inside, reading:

"The Republican Party has lost its way."

Short and sweet... Just dropped it in my mailbox.

State GOP vs RNC

I am a member of my state GOP but no longer support the RNC. My state party actually asked my preference for President and I gladly sent them money along with my vote for Ron Paul. I think they get the message better that way.

Love it!

=D

Postage Pre-Paid?

If it's postage pre-paid, I'd interlineate my suggestions. Nicely, the person who opens it may be a super delegate.

LOL

Thats funny. You should send it back with funny money.

Stamp

Hey, why don't you order one of the stamps advertised in the center column and stamp Ron Paul for President on all of your out going mail? That's what I do and stamp all of the $$ that pass through my hands. There are millions of uses for it and it can be fun finding new uses.

Good for you

They called me and I told them I no longer trusted them.

Good!

I almost WISH that they would solicit me so I could do the same.

I would love to ask them what the differences are

between McCain and the democratic party.

hahaha great!

hahaha great!

If these idiots are so

If these idiots are so afraid of the Democrats gaining the white house (and well they should be), then why the heck don't they line up their considerable support behind the ONE candidate who stands even a ghost of a chance? GRRrrrr!!!!

Very nice

Earlier, somebody had posted something similar and said the RNC was talking about FISA and how important it was and that the Dems had voted against it (or something to that effect). Did you get the same thing?

Different

No the letter I got talked about several points, mainly that the Democrats want to run from terrorists, and that they will vote for amnesty and allow illegal immigrants to get into the country.

And McCain is their likely nominee? Can you say AMNESTY???

That would be funny as hell

That would be funny as hell if it wasn't so sad.
