What is happening to the money that was already donated before they went to just doing pledges...?

all of these gimmicks are just gimmicks. Though creativity and having fun are an important factor, I truly believe that this is a big misdirection of time, energy, and finances that can be put to better use for the campaign since we only have 21 states left in the primary. People, come on... this is an election, and we are considered on the "fringe" because we are not working within the system, but on the peripheral. And before anyone goes off and says that the "system" is the problem; which it is, we still have to function within it. Whether you like to hear this or not, we have to. It sucks, but we need to focus on getting votes and delegates, not race cars for a 90 second local news television interest spot. Dr. Paul knows this about the "system" better than any of us, and he has stated this. The system is broke, but we still have to function within it. That is the way it works. The cool gimmicks and supporter inspirational videos that we promote to each other is great, but it is not going to get us votes and delegates, that's what we need... votes and delegates. We have to remain laser-focused and use our resources wisely.

There are over 60 million NASACR fans that are brand and driver loyal. If they discover www.ronpaulracing.com, then they will discover www.ronpaul2008.com. There is no other sport that has such a large base of conservatives. Its a good thing for people and companies that are maxed out. The campaign needs exposure, and this is a good place to get it. The exposure is 3-4 hours every Saturday in front of live TV and crowds.

Post this on any other forum you can think of. There are about 150x's the amount of NASCAR fans than Ron Paul fans (for now). And everyone that loves NASCAR, loves Kenny Wallace. He is a co host on Track Side Live. It is every night after a race. Thats means 2-3 days minumum. He was voted by the fans to particpate in the All Star Challenge last year. You need to simply post-

You would need binoculars to see it from the stands, How many other stickers would it have plastered on it? Would the announcers call it the Ron Paul Car, or would they use some other brand label on the car?

I hate to say it but this idea seems to be going nowhere.

I would suggest you consult (and pay appropriate fee if necessary) with the ronpaulblimp team. There is no reason to have to go through the same learning curve they did when they tried to get up and running with their stuff.

I think this is a great idea. We need to be able to see the process of the pledges etc. That being said I will pledge $50 today to this project, and I hope that others will join me.

I'd be happy to PAY more then my pledge when I see the effort to make this thing happen in the professionally legal business manner that it needs to be conducted under. GO GO GO RON PAUL RACING TEAM!
