Ron Paul doesn’t need to run 3rd party. He needs to run 2nd party (Libertarian or Constitution). Why? Simply because there is little to no difference in our CFR controlled ‘two’ party system. Dr. Paul has rode the crest of this republican wave for all its worth. Its got him name recognition, in the gop debates, msm interviews, etc. However, now that wave is nearing shore and is about to crash. We must take the blinders off and face this fact knowing it’s not the end but merely the beginning of a second phase. The grassroots diehards are seeing the overthrow of the gop as the only viable route to travel. Let us look at the facts. First, in spite of all the humongous grassroots efforts, we have not won a single state and have only harnessed around 42 delegates. Why? The majority of gop voters, like it or not, are mainstream controlled. We have been spending too much energy into trying to convert the unconvertible. Secondly, why do we continue to believe that we pro-constitution voters can ultimately take over the establishment controlled gop by convention time? I know you are going to say: “but we do have a game plan of delegate vote control on the second vote call.” With Romney dropping out and Huckabee soon to follow, let’s get real. It is likely that the nomination will be decided on the first round. So much for all that hard work and flawed game strategy. Besides, the gop has changed the rules locally throughout the state caucuses and primaries, so not to think they would do so at the convention behind closed doors is nieve. They will do anything and everything to block Ron Paul from getting the nomination. We must divorce ourselves from this Custer mentality. I am not at all talking about giving up or quitting. I am talking about intelligently rethinking our strategy, folks. It is far from over. For the ‘eternal vigilance’ long term I agree with Gary North’s Phase 2 strategy. For the near term, this November, we need to accept the welcoming open arms of either the Libertarian or Constitutional parties or both (assuming you can simultaneously be on the ballot under more than one party). They are national parties with recognized ballots in nearly all 50 states. The majority of their voters have endorsed Dr. Paul for president. Now we can start swimming with the current and make use of their established bases to further our collective cause of restoring the Constitution. Ron Paul can immediately announce his running mate, and together with his growing advisory board, start truthfully attacking his dem and rep opponents. Just think of this for a moment. It gives our campaign six, yes, six extra months (half a year) to show the voting public the day and night differences between us and them. That’s a huge advantage v. spending half a year busting just to possibly get a nomination. Check your odds of getting the nomination. Same as little big horn? No? Then why are the donations down to a trickle? Many internet and grassroots supporters are looking for a mid-course maneuver which will reignite this campaign. Now is the time to act.
