Mitt Romney dropping out good for RP? NOT SO FAST MY FRIENDS

While I love the fact that there are only 3 candidates left. While I appreciate all the collective optimism here at dailypaul......it amazes me that... none of you in here see that now John McCain can win the nomination outright. If you think Mitt Romney is going to throw his support to RP, think again. He's not going to do that. Ron Paul's not going to be getting anymore airtime by our media, he will continued to be blackballed and considered insignifigant as our friend Jack Cafferty said out of his own mouth. This also clears the way for McCain to cut a deal with Huckbee to be on the ticket. There is a lot to consider here and Romney dropping out may not help us as much as we think.

It amazes me that
You haven't noticed that we have been talking about that ever since it happened. We just happen to like to stay a little positive until we have another reason be be stomped into the ground for the millionth time. We'll cross the nail bed only when we have to. We've been there, done that and moved on.
There are many goals in this campaign/movement...
1. TO WIN
2. AWAKEN AS MANY AMERICAN'S POSSIBLE
3. MOTIVATE MORE RON PAUL'S INTO OFFICE
4. FORM OUR OWN PARTY
We can honestly achieve these goals but they will take time. It might not be this presidential election but if we stick to these long term goals it doesn't matter.
Don't get me wrong I want Dr. Paul in the whitehouse (NOW) but I really want the other goals as well so my children have a chance and a seat at the table.

No brokered convention now
Romney and McCain could have both ended up with minorities with Huckabee and Paul holding the difference. That was Dr. Paul's only shot at the nomination. That will not happen now.
Mathematically, half of the delegates have been selected. Dr. Paul needs to win all of the remainder (which includes some superdelegates) to win outright.

SUSPEND means to stop campaigning...

they act so tough... even romney said the war on terror is too important to disrupt a national RNC campaign...

i agree. i think this is actually very bad for dr paul. even if it winds up that only paul and mccain are running, paul will probably get LESS attention. the media will just say that they have a winner and that mccain is running unopposed. this will change nothing.
