Bush endorsing McCain- nice
Submitted by voterp on Fri, 02/08/2008 - 15:47
I find it increadibly odd that McCain wins the most delegates and then as soon as he does so, Romney drops out.
Bush then endorses McCain. I don't dwell a lot on conspiracy, but mixed with the confusion of our caucus and the support for Romney, just another sinister idea running through my head.
I can't wait until Bush is out of the white house.

If anyone saw the last state of the union you'll know
Yes, the Republicans would stand and clap out of the notion of being polite, but if you saw many of their faces they were dissatified.
Some where asleep during Bush's speech, but there were a few that asked for his autograph afterwords.
No Democrats stood, and the Republicans did so out of being 'unified', not of principle.
Bush is a divider, and his endorsement of McCain further shows that he is also a divider as well. He's not only going to divide Republican and Democrat, he'll now divide Conservative and Liberal Republican.
The Republican party is going to die with McCain in office. This is political suicide.

Whew...I was worried we would get a Bush endorsement
Had we received a Bush endorsement we would have been finished..
That's exactly what I was thinking...
Guess we dodged that bullet!

I hate the so-called election process
Ballot box stuffing, voter fraud, media blackouts, backroom deals, Party favorites, smears, 11th hour chnages, etc. . Sometimes I wonder why we bother teaching our kids about fairness and fairplay. It just turns them cynical, disgusted and sad!

It just hurts McCain.
It just hurts McCain. Anyone who runs on Bush's platform will lose by a landslide in the fall.
This is all setup for Hillary to win. I hope Obama beats her in the primaries just to screw their plan up.
With a 70% disapproval
With a 70% disapproval rating, you think americans would run from the candidate he endorses.

If Bush endorsed me as president...
...I'd become a democrat.
Oh wait. McCain IS a democrat. My bad.

Awesome
You made me snort my coffee
I don't understand why I'm
I don't understand why I'm the only one who sees what's afoot here. The power behind the curtain want Hillary in the White House, that's what's been going on since, I would say, back in early Sept of last year.
I first noticed it when Limbaugh was going on and on about "I would love to see Hillary in the race." and on and on and on. He was spelling out her platform, her voting record. Hell by the end of Oct I let all my neo con friends know that Limbaugh and the whole right wing nut jobs (and the men behind the curtain) were vibing for Hillary, so they better get use to it. Oh sure they try and cover it with their trite about how they could win because Hillary has so much baggage but yet they don't put any candidate out there that would pull for the Republican party. Ron Paul got by their radar but as soon as he and his supporters looked like they would really be a contender for the nomination...they shut his ass down...big time and push for McCain, which all have decided is the enemy and must be defeated at all cost to save the party!! For crying out loud! The big boys want Hillary and they will get Hillary, mark my words.
You're 100% correct. I've

I've felt this already for year. The Republicans are screwed.

GET IT RIGHT
GET IT RIGHT: Left and Right Wing Authoritarians agree, there are no conspiracies. There's an innocent explanation for everything, including why we were lied into war and why that debate on the North American Union is only for "conspiracy theorists."

you'd think a bush
you'd think a bush endorsement would send a politician screaming from the building... that could very well be the political equivelant to the kiss of death. Not anything to brag about.
Is this true?
I would think with Bush's extremely low approval rating this would be the kiss of death.
Ron Paul's problem
Most Americans know Bush is a horrible president.
But most Republicans still think he's pretty good. They even think that this advocate of giant, intrusive government is a conservative. So Paul's problem is that before he can run in the general election against Clinboma he first has to get the votes of fools who think McCain and Bush are good Republicans.
but Obama is a cousin of Bush & Cheyney
They're related. 8th cousin of Cheyne and 11th cousin of GW Bush. It was in the Telegraph UK on Monday in a story about Obama going to a Stag Night in England where there was a stripper.

Exactly
Today at CPAC they "conservatives" were chanting "4 more years"! They are way off the mark for what they say they stand for.

When Ron Paul came back to congress in the 14th district, both Bushes endorsed the other candidate.
Ron Paul still won
Yeah it's funny
History is repeating itself.
I think Paul is in familiar territory here too, he can win this!
That would be the last nail in McCain's coffin
if Bush endorsed him. I can't see how that would help anyone. Maybe that's the plan???????
The Kiss of the Godfather I Guess
I think that Google searches for McCain should result in "Bush Endorses McCain" for a page or two. Any web search optimization specialists here?
I was OK with Bush until he signed my civil rights (IMBRA law violates the right to assemble and online privacy) away with a happy flourish the day after New Years 2006.
McCain is bound to self-destruct if RP gets in his face between now and September.
Sweet!!!
