US Marine Vincent, an Iraq Veteran, is putting together a huge sign wave/rally at Fort Hood which is very close to Killeen, TX.
Everyone in the vicinity should plan on being there.
Seventy people in the DFW area have already signed up to be in Lake Jackson this Sunday, February 10th.
Please bump this and spread the word about these two very important dates in Texas Primary Election History!

I was there.
I wouldn't say the crowd was absolutely huge, but we did have many more people show up than could fit inside the auditorium. I was one of the late comers, and had to wait for Paul to come out and do a short secondary speech on the plaza outside. I took a few nice pictures. I saw the Granny Warrior's RV there, and a plane kept flying around the center with a Ron Paul for president banner. At the very end they had a greeting line and I got to shake Ron Paul's hand and have my picture taken with him. I thanked him for running and he thanked me for my support.
In the other rooms of the Lake Jackson Civic center they had a baby shower and a rally for Peden, his congressional primary rival. Our turnout definitely dwarfed his, but then Ron Paul isn't just representing Lake Jackson, he's representing all of the lovers of liberty in America.

Was there much, or any, interaction between the Paul supporters and those there for Pedo? (ask your Mexican friends about the pun ;-) ) Just curious how that might have gone.

None that I could see. Though as I approached the building a man with a long gray beard and a Ron Paul sign pointed to a group of men, some of them police, standing near the road and told me that one of them was the Lake Jackson Mayor, and that he was a Peden supporter, and had dodged the draft for the Vietnam war yet supported this war in Iraq. And he urged me to go over and ask him about it. I just walked inside, and only then realized that Peden was having a rally in the same building. From the road you could tell there was a Ron Paul rally going on, because of the busses, the Granny Warriors RV, tons of signs etc. But no clue about Peden.

I doubt Peden will be sucessful, Ron Paul has a lot of passionate support as a Presidential candidate, has been well known in his district for a very long time, and incumbents are hard to beat even when few people particularly care about them.

We are driving from North Texas to be there. It will be incredible to see Dr. Paul in person and be a part of history. Everyone needs to come and show the world that the message of freedom is just beginning to spread.
