Let's pull a Rosa Parks

I absolutely can not take it anymore. The media black out is too much, and the lying on top of it is the last straw! We are going to have to do more. The only thing I can think of is joining together and having an old fashion sit-in. I think we should jam-up a major artery in designated cities across the country. Sit right there in the middle of the road. Hundreds of us.
The demand: News coverage, even if it is only for that day, we could have designated speeches by designated representatives who will send Ron Paul's message over the airwaves.
The world will watch, they will be captivated. No-one has done this, on this scale and all we want is to have the world here our one speech. Just think how many people we can reach. They will be televising it everywhere around the world.
We do this non-violent, we sit, we are quite, and we place our demands.
Rosa took a chance all by herself, why can't we do it?
If you all don't join me I may have to do this myself, but then I am too scared to do it myself. UHH, come on!

Rosa Parks is a hero. There's no apostrophe in her name. The sad state of the English language disturbs English-geeks like me. Apostrophes mean something besides "something internet users insert randomly before typing an s."

Strunk & White's "The Elements of Style" is a VERY short book, which can help you a lot more than calling me a snob will help you. I know name-calling is easier than reading, but please consider reading. Who knows? You might get more respect from snobs.

One problem though

I thought this might work if people just parked their cars on a major highway into their downtown city and had a bunch of ron paul signs on the top of their cars. I have brainstormed on this quite a bit. One problem is if we stop an ambulance from going through, or if someone gets run over and killed, we may be charged with some type of involuntary manslaughter. They would probably throw the book at us to show other people not to try it. I am sure past protestors didn't worry about that stuff happening to them back in the day, and maybe we should not either, but I think it would be hard to find people willing to risk so much. I would definitely consider it but who else would?

Rosa sat on a bus, that obviously won't work for us. We could go to the local Fox networks and sit in the parking lot so they can't leave or enter? God there has to be something.

You won't be alone. I hear more and more everyday how people are sick of the system here. I've heard more than one radio host say how they have never seen so many people feeling pushed even to the point of armed resistance.

I fear we may see another war of independance in this country before another 10 years is up.

With that discontent around I doubt you'l have trouble finding people to sit with you.
