The "long haul"

I was as hopeful and positive as anyone, I saw more progress toward reclaiming America in the last 12 months than I had seen in all of my 50 years. To see 5000 thousand supporters cheering for Ron Paul and for Liberty and for personal responsibility and property rights and the abolishment of the Federal Reserve literally left me with tears streaming down my face. In a way, we have already won, we have turned back the clock, we have reversed the trend, and the war-mongerers and power-brokers are not pleased.

Who is "they"? They is the system - a pyramid, with unwitting and hard working people at the bottom and unscrupulous billionaires at the top... you want names? Start with Maurice Greenberg, Peter Peterson, David Rockefeller, Peter Sutherland, Henry Kissinger, Paul Volcker, Nicholas Brady, Fred Bergsten, George Shultz, et al. There are many many more, some more powerful than others, indeed from the top of the pyramid to the bottom you find a smooth continuum of both net-worth and awareness of what really goes on. The system is structured on a "need to know" basis, and their globalization agenda, complete with a littany of excuses to further it from the war-on-terrorism to "free-trade" trickles down from the top.

We know what's wrong with this country, Ron Paul has explained it to us. It didn't happen by accident, it took a hundred years and a concerted effort, beginning when America's most powerful bankers and industrialists conspired to create the Federal Reserve system for their own power and profit, to get it this way. We have a long way to go to set things right.

Did you think that Dr. Paul would just waltz into the White House?
Have you any idea of the enormity of the machine he and we are going up against? Did it surprise you that the entire mass media cooperated in ignoring and ridiculing Ron Paul throughout the campaign? That votes were stolen from him through disenfranchisement or competing slates or, god forbid, outright vote-fraud? That they wouldn't stop at ANYTHING to prevent Ron Paul from winning? Wake up ! It is no longer a government for the people by the people, it is a government, a legal system, an educational system, a media, all moulded to enhance the interests of the rich and powerful and keep people complacent and in the dark.

This is just one battle - this is not just about a Ron Paul presidency, it is about waking the American people up to the fact that their country has been stolen, that their rights are being extinguished, that the entire US economy is a ponzi scheme. This fight will continue, whether Ron Paul is in the White House or in the House of Representatives, one bloody battle at a time.

Benjamin Franklin: "A Republic, if you can keep it."
Thomas Jefferson: "The price of liberty is eternal vigilance."

America HASN'T been vigilant, it has been asleep. We have a lot of catching up to do. Ron Paul is in it for the long haul ... are we?

"They is the system"

Sounds like an Al Sharpton campaign speech

RP2012!

I'd like to see this website become the HQ for all

candidates - from the lowest levels of government to the highest that run based on Dr. Pauls message.

I'm here for the long haul.

I'm here for the long haul. No doubt. I think what were seeing is mourning for the end of the movements birth. It's enetering the next stage of growth. Creating something is always a painfull process.

This revolution is much like our collective child. We came to it with elation and optimism like most new parents do. Our hopes were boundless and potential was unlimited.

I can remember in the early months before any voting, scanning the networks for any site of Ron Paul. If I missed anything I would immediately go to the forums and look for the youtube of it.

It was a feeling of infinite possibility. Going to the Santa Monica rally and seeing the revolution growing. Every bumper sticker pulled a huge smile from me.

As voting started and the things began to look more dire, my expectations became more conservative. I saw the hard work involved. I realized that just like a child this movement would'nt just be born and fullfill all my dreams. It would have to grow. Mistakes would be made. I would have to teach it as it taught me.

I have a very sentimental memory of those times just like most parents have of the months of pregnancy.

There comes a stage where you love the child no less, but realize it takes work, patience and your continual vigilance to mature and become the person you dreamed it could be.

So yes, I feel a bit down, as I have after dissapointing primaries and media blackouts.

However, I still love the movement that we've brought into the world and as any good parent should, I will stand by it no matter what and have every confidence it will grow and make us all the proud parents we dreamed of being.

Tommorow bring new primaries and new possibilities. No turning back now.

You are right on the money but I am

concerned that the widespread grassroots support base is now splintered. Not beyond repair but we need to act now before it's too late. I believe Randy Dixion has a valid idea in another post. However, I wish to expand on it by proposing that Ron Paul gets his name on as many 3rd party tickets as possible that support his platform. Through this saturated voting Paul can continue pursuing his republican goals while the army outside grows.
