Lets send a message to Ron: www.ronpaulwhitehouse.com

Join me in an attempt to draft Ron Paul into an Independent run for the White House. Yes, I read the email today just as everybody else did, and yes I respect Dr. Paul's decision, it is his life and his choice to make, of that there can be no doubt. But I still want to let him know how I feel, and I want him to understand my take on things. My gut and my brain tells me that the revolution that we have built on his platform (and on his back) is best continued in the quest for the White House, not his congressional seat in Texas. Perhaps he would change his mind if he saw how committed we were to making it happen. Perhaps not. Either way, trying to send a message to Dr. Paul hurts nobody and it might warm his heart to know that we still believe.

Pledge with me and spread the word...

Well it's a damn shame. Ron

Well it's a damn shame. Ron Paul polls higher nationally in the general election then he ever did in the republican primary, but I guess most people are just not interested...the good Dr. included.

Oh well...

I understand

Why RP wants to stay Republican, and I, as a Republican, understand why he should.

However.

The Republican party is NO LONGER the Republican party. Staying with it at this point is just doing so for the name and name alone. Whatever comes out of this will BE what the Republican party should be, so why not do it?

one could substitute "consistency" with "loyalty".

We love Ron Paul, but we also know that we all have moments of weakness. Let's make this a true grassroots movement and help our man see the light like he's helped us.

The hardest thing about campaigning for Dr. Paul in the primaries was getting independents to register Republican. So many of the people I approached were hesitant, or forgot to mail their ballots in, or had me send them in with "permanent absentee" -- which had a passed deadline!

Dr. Ron Paul can do way way way way better in the generals where these are not obstacles.
