Unsheathing his sword during a lull in the virtually incessant
bombardment Colonel William Barret Travis drew a line on the
ground before his battle-weary men. In a voice trembling with
emotion he described the hopelessness of their plight and said,
"those prepared to give their lives in freedom's cause, come
over to me."
Without hesitation, every man, save one, crossed the line,
Colonel James Bowie, stricken with pneumonia, asked that
his cot be carried over.

Remember the Alamo
On February 23 many Ron Paul supporters will take a stand for freedom and liberty by making a donation to his campaign. To join this you have to commit to donating $189 on the 23rd in honor of the men that gave their lives for freedom. Are there at least 189 willing to give to Dr. Paul's campaign?

John Wayne from the Alamo
Republic. I like the sound of the word. It means people can live free, talk free, go or come, buy or sell, be drunk or sober, however they choose. Some words give you a feeling. Republic is one of those words that makes me tight in the throat - the same tightness a man gets when his baby takes his first step or his first baby shaves and makes his first sound as a man. Some words can give you a feeling that makes your heart warm. Republic is one of those words. - John Wayne From The Alamo
