How To Wake Up The Mainstream
I've seen various reports from observers that expect the Ron Paul r3VOLution to have its finest moments in the days to come. Let's not disappoint them. There is so much opposition to both McCain and Huckabee. I think Ron Paul stands a good chance of winning, if we make it happen.
We just need a new surge. We need to remember that this isn't a horse race or a beauty contest. We need to get mad about what the establishment is doing to this country and this world. We need a revival of the same grassroots that has amazed everyone for the last year!
This is politics; and though they play dirty, all we need to do is tell the truth like Dr. Paul has been doing. We can and must do this! We will not just tell these scoundrels, “OK, you win.”
We all know that the MSM - national media - railroaded our candidate from the beginning. With the advent of the internet, it made it much more difficult. They were probably holding their breath during various surges of the r3VOLution, hoping they'd be able to maintain their grip on the thinking of mainstream America.
They have had a lot of success in the primaries, but they went out on a limb to do so. There is such a long train of abuses by the MSM that if you put it all together in a documentary it would look criminal. People get mad when the bad guys gang up on a good guy, and that's how we need to present this.
How many people believed the rumors that Paul had dropped out? Mainstream America tunes in to the talking heads the day before they're supposed to vote, and what do they see? They sure don't see the good doctor's Prescription for Prosperity! We should help people feel like they've been cheated.
The MSM is presenting Americans with a choice between anti-life Democrats (abortion) and anti-life Republicans (warmongers). A ton of Americans don't like it, but they've been defrauded by the MSM, which mastered the creation of apathy decades ago. America needs to learn about the only 100% pro-life candidate!
Let's follow the campaign's strategy and donate and do precinct work. But let's not forget that it was a bunch of political newbies, who didn't know you were supposed to do things by the book, who went and invented new strategies that are now being imitated by everyone else!
The internet has changed everything. Most Americans are on the internet, but we obviously haven't reached them all. We need new viral campaigns that target unreached people and that educate them about the real issues. We've let the MSM control the debate. Remember what this is about: He voted against the Patriot Act. He voted against regulating the Internet. He voted against the Iraq war. What got you fired up?
The MSM is the enemy! They must be exposed if we are ever to win our fellow Americans back to the principles of freedom. I'm proposing the making of some short, powerful documentaries, like mentioned above, that makes people mad at the MSM and leads them to learn about the Champion of the Constitution.
First, we need everyone to jog their memory and post what they consider to be the some of the strongest evidences of bias and censorship over the last year. Think about the big picture. We want the small percentage of independent media to be on our side, so we should focus on slamming the national media.
I propose the first couple of ideas:
>>>From the start, they branded Paul a longshot, second-tier candidate. By whose estimation? They reported who their top-tier candidates were, then they did a poll, and then they continued reporting their self-fulfilling prophecy. Paul's excellent showing in real straw polls around the country was irrelevant to their agenda.
>>>Several months ago I saw a clip on CNN.com that showed a nice bar chart comparing McCain's 95K media mentions up to that point in the campaign, to Paul's 10K (roughly). Surely someone knows where to dig up solid figures like CNN did.
Urgency!!! We need multiple volunteers to use the ideas that get posted here to produce and share their work everywhere. If a bunch of Paul sites could post the newest YouTube videos, for example, so everyone could go and rate them in their first 24 hours, it would drive them up the charts and get them on the main pages for a lot more people to see. The same sites could also have a section for the best of the best, or categories for different topics.
I posted http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nqhxkc9jTjY here a week ago and you guys helped drive it up the charts during that initial window.
Let's go folks! I've been praying for a r3VOLution like this for twelve years. Many, including Dr. Paul, have been in the fight a lot longer. We've made more progress in the last twelve months than in the last several decades. The r3VOLution will go on! Who's in?

We need to stop acting like activists.
There is a lot of stuff being propagated on this site.
things like harassing media
Spamming email boxes.
Invading McCain rallies
etc
We need to act main stream to be accepted by the main stream.
No one ever changed anything by forcing their opinion on others.
Right now we have a huge disadvantage. People do not like us. We have to work TOGETHER to repair that image.
Could've missed it...
but I haven't heard anyone advocate harassing people.
Go run with the sheeple... "If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen." -- Samuel Adams
not to nit pick
But I said harassing Media.
( throwing snowballs at Lura Engram)
There is huge post talking about Infiltrating McCain's rallies. Hiring illegal immigrants to help etc.
I don't get what we are
I don't get what we are going to do. Make a documentary?
Mathew 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

The mainstream watches TV
That's why they're mainstream.
We need TV coverage. An infomercial, something like that.
