I will start...

As a result of a law suit filed by the National Democratic Committee, the Supreme Court rules that under the meaning and intent of the "natural born" citizen clause in the Constitution, John McCain is not eligible to be President of the United States.

Since John McCain selected Mike Huckabee as his Vice Presidential running mate, the whole ticket is disqualified.

The Republican Party holds an emergency meeting of national delegates and selects Dr. Ron Paul as the new presidential nominee of the Republican Party.
