After reading it, it is apparent that those in attendence were duped by McCain and the need tofeel like they are part of a winning team.
when asked about the issues, they overwhelmingly state they are for the positions held by Dr. Paul.

All of the delegates won by other candidates will become available to vote for who they want if McCain doesn't win right away.
Our job is to sell them on Dr. Ron Paul, but we must work as hard as ever between now and sept to succeed.
If 100,000 people will donate a $100. to his campaign this month then the whole election dynamics will change for Ron Paul. To win he still must have a lot of money. We know that the media will not give him any free time. Those infiltraters will spend a lot of time on these forums to try to get us to stop. they will tell us it is a waste of time.

This is insane
They contradict themselves throughout the poll. Way up on number one is terrorism and then later the vast majority say we should worry about our own country instead of trying to spread Democracy all over the world. Did Iraq have terrorists before we invaded? Duh, Sadam hated Bin Laden and would not allow any terrorists into Iraq. Also, where were the people that were concerned about the economy?? Am I on another planet??
What a bunch of fools we have in the Republican Conservative party now and even though Dr Paul is a true (former) Republican Conservative, the rest are neo-cons, the true Conservative party is dead and if I were Dr Paul I would be placing myself as far away as possibly from the neo-cons. Dr Paul can NOT stop the neo-cons when the Conservative party agrees with them.
I think that Americans should fight a Revolution for a permanent 3rd party that does not have to jump through hoops to be on ANY ballot, campaign or debate. This is the only way that America will survive because there is absolutely NO difference between the existing Democrats and Republicans, PERIOD!
Eventually
this country will need a strong, viable, third party if there is to be real change.
One party (which is probably what we have now) is no choice.

Only 15% said that "America's foreign policy should be based on spreading democracy around the world." That's great. That means only 15% of them are neoconservatives.
82% said "American foreign policy should be based on protecting its own economic and national security interests."
60% of the people taking the survey were 18-25 years of age, so it's definitely not a representative sample.

Realize that
you can be in favor of the Iraq war and not be a neoconservative. I used to be in favor of the war, but I was not a neocon. Neoconservative foreign policy is i specifically the view that America has a moral responsibility to spread democracy around the world through military force. That's not why I supported the war. I supported it because I thought it was in America's self-interest, in order to make us safer. I came to the realization that it actually wasn't in our self interest. Most people who support the war are not neoconservatives.
And yet
they go right along with the neocon agenda.

That was one of the strangest things I have ever seen! McCain and Romney are the apparent winners even thought according to the break down of the actual issues those who responded took exactly oppose positions of either McCain or Romney. 80% said that the primary purpose of the U.S. Military should be to protect American and its interests not to spread democracy around the world.
57% wanted to leave the UN. 80% took a much harder line of illegal immigration then McCain or Romney. 59% said that individual freedom and cutting the size and reach of government was very important.
It is just a strange thing that what these people said they stood for is not the way they voted in terms of candidate.

Don't waste your time looking at this crappy survey. That clinches it, we are living in a confederacy of dunces if those fools could listen to Dr. Paul & not be moved to carry him on their shoulders to the white house. I am so amazed at my naivete' that I thought if people heard the truth, and supposedly informed people at that, that they would rush to support Dr. Paul. I don't even want to call myself human anymore. I must be some kind of mutant, or maybe we're all just the next evolution of the species & the only way to tell is by our superior intellect & love of FREEDOM!!!!!
