Will they pretend that they never ignored him?
Admit they should never have ignored him?

What Republican party?

The networks will switch over from live coverage of the Republican convention to live coverage of the Green party convention. If anyone asks why they're not covering the Republican nominee, they'll reply that he can't win and that C-SPAN is covering all of the minor party conventions.

You'll see how easy

and fast it really is to recount the votes in all states...For they will be the ones shouting VOTE FRAUD and blaming it on Paulvotebots..:-)

However, in regards to your questions...

Probably
no way
Certainly

The accumulation of all powers, legislative, executive, and judiciary, in the same hands, whether of one, a few, or many, and whether hereditary, self-appointed, or elective, may justly be pronounced the very definition of tyranny. James Madison

Many will be fired

The managers who have been pushing the lackies to ignore Paul will blame the lackies for dropping the ball and missing the most important story of the century. The story by the new crews will be covered as "libertarians" take over the Republican party, old republican party now called "NeoCon party" (or whatever) has nominated McCain. Its a two man race..

The headline will be

The headline will be :"McCain Edges Out Huckabee for 2nd place in Republican National Convention!"

That is hilarious

Sad but true.

They will say that it was

They will say that it was part of their strategy to ignore Ron Paul and in turn they knew that this would energize his base and create an American curiousity and thus take credit for the win.

They will also apologize to Ron Paul supporters. O'Reilly will admit that in fact, he's "living in fantasyland", Hannity will come out of the closet. Stephanopolis will admit he has no talent and his daddy got him the job. Bill Cristol will admit he works for the devil. Chris Mathews will open up and confess that he is in love with Hillary.

A whole new day in America will be at hand!

I like the Kristol comment.

I have the feeling that a

I have the feeling that a few things will happen.

First off.. lots of pairs of underwear will be needing a changing.

Secondly, I forsee a lot of talking heads getting 'replaced' by taking much needed 'vacations'.

Lastly, and more seriously, I think they'll keep doing exactly what they've been doing - ignoring Ron Paul. Even if he is the nominee, they'll focus all attention on whoever gets the democratic nomiination. If they are 'for' the democratic nominee, all they'll do is show supportive information, if they are 'against' the nominee, they'll focus on why that nominee is 'bad'.

I seriously doubt they'll say "Ron Paul is better than X because ___".
I'm not entirely discounting the opportunities to say 'X is better than Ron Paul because ____'.. but the way MSM has treated RP thus far, I expect it will be 'X is a better choice because ______'.

They dont want RP in office. He flies in the face of how they make a living. He threatens their very existance.

Fortunately, thanks to the fortitude of Ron Paul and all of us here, "Ignore it and maybe it will go away" doesn't work any more.
