Who do you think would win these debate match ups?
1. Clinton vs McCain
2. Clinton vs Huckabee
3. Clinton vs Paul
4. Obama vs McCain
5. Obama vs Huckabee
6. Obama vs Paul
If people really think about this, the answers (at least to me) are obvious. And those answers make me want to vote for Ron Paul. The answers would probably help convince others to vote for Ron Paul also.

From the perspective of a "swing voter"
Keep in mind your average swing voter has not paid much attention to the campaigns and is not very familiar with the issues. Otherwise they would have made up their mind already and wouldn't be swayed by a debate. They will judge based on how the candidate sounds not on what he/she says. How comfortable they feel with the candidate leading the country, not whether he/she is right on complex issues. Authenticity is important, but self-confidence, attitude, experience (or appearance thereof), and eloquence also matter. I rank their attractiveness on these points as Obama, McCain, Clinton, Huckabee, and finally Paul. I think we do ourselves a disservice to think that Dr. Paul is going to be perceived as a great debater by most Americans.

Ron Paul's knows what he is talking about vs the others being told what to say. His message is undebatable.
What candidate can try to debate that we should not follow the constitution?
What candidate other than Ron Paul even mentions the constitution?
When other candidates discuss smaller government, which of them would make it as small as Ron Paul?
How can you debate the truth of our failure to follow the constitution?
Ron Paul is an excellent debater if he is actually allowed to participate.
Don't forget, Ron Paul won all of the republican debates!

The only way anyone is going to win in the general election is with a message of peace...
To the general sheeple, Clinton and Obama are the peace candidates.... (isn't that sad?)
It's going to take a REAL peace candidate to beat them.
Nobody wins with a "we want more war" message...
P.S. I think ANY of the former democrat contenders could beat McCain in a debate.... the man is not bright.
