help, proof Obama will expand war, how to get info out

A lot of people tell me they are voting for Barack Obama because he will end the war and send the troops home. I did research on this and found out what he really plans to do.

There are antiwar groups voting for Obama just for this reason. Maybe most dont care. Maybe they really are voting for him for his good looks. I was thinking of making a speech on youtube. I'm pretty boring though. The people who really want the war to end need to vote for Ron Paul. He is the only candidate who will do this.
Below is the information, I am pretty sure its all corrrect, let me know if you think something is not, or if I misunderstood something, its long , let me know what can be done with this, make flyers and mail them to anti-war groups, maybe make a commercial to expose Obama, anything. Good day my fellow Americans,

I am a Ron Paul supporter and I want to talk to you today about the upcoming presidential election and the Iraq War.

The polls have shown that the majority of the American people oppose the Iraq war and want it to end.

One of the presidential candidates running, Mr Barack Obama, is misleading the American people into believing he is the candidate that will stop this war. I will prove this is not so and that his plans are actually the complete opposite, to expand the war and increase the level of troops deployed in the Middle East.

On Mr Obamas webpage. www.barackobama.com,
under the section Issues – Iraq , scroll down to the sub title “Bringing our troops home”. That’s a totally misleading statement – should not even be there. A total lie. Read the paragraph, nowhere does it say the troops will come home.

He talks about removing combat brigades. According to the pentagon ,they make up about 23%of the troops currently assigned to the Iraq mission. So, he’s actually talking about a sub section of the troops.

Okay, so lets find out where these combat brigades will go when they are removed from Iraq. Lets look at Mr. Obamas plan called the
“ Iraq War De-escalation Act of 2007”,
okay, so section 3 of this act states that the current levels of the Unites States armed forces shall not exceed levels of such forces in Iraq as of January 10 2007. He doesn’t state what this number actually is. It would make it a lot easier for people if he did, but that’s okay, I googled it. Thank goodness for google. These politicians love to make simple things complicated.
So as of, January 2007: the U.S. troop levels in Iraq were at 137000.
Currently as of jan 25 2008, 157,000.00.
So the difference is very small, 20000.00.
The maximum number of troops Mr Obama would allow in Iraq under normal conditions is just a little less than the current amount. I say under normal conditions, because this act can be suspended allowing more troops if needed.

Okay , so lets find out what he wants to do with the troops he does remove.
In his act, under Section 4 – Redeployment – it states

Appropriate units of armed forces should be redeployed:
1. to the United States. Well finally , that’s what I was looking for, but wait, theres other places.
2. to Afghanistan, to enhance US military operations in that country;
3. elsewhere in the region, to serve as an over-the-horizon force to prevent the conflict in Iraq from becoming a wider war, to reassure allies of the United States of the commitment of the United States to remain engaged in the region to, and to position troops to strike directly at al-Qaeda, and
4. elsewhere, to meet urgent United States security needs.

We have just seen where the troops will be redeployed.
Now, from the combat brigades he does redeploy, lets try to find out how many will actually come home.

Lets do more research - In his webpage under the section Issues/foreign policy
He states Under the subtitle – Building a 21st century military:
· "Expand the Military: We have learned from Iraq that our military needs more men and women in uniform to reduce the strain on our active force. Obama will increase the size of ground forces, adding 65,000 soldiers to the Army and 27,000 Marines. "

I think this answers my previous question – how many troops will actually come home – sounds like 0. We have just seen, Obama will need more to help out in the Middle East. I wonder Is Mr Barack Obama planning a draft?

Mr Obama also claims he will not build any permanent bases in Iraq. This is an empty statement because the Pentagon does not call the bases it builds in Iraq “permanent bases”, but “enduring bases”. The pentagon has stated many times it plans to not build “permanent bases” in Iraq, but it does build “Enduring bases”.

Some last few points – in his De-escalation Act, Mr Obama mentions another Act called "HR 5122 - John Warner National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2007."

Lets take a look at statute 2444 section 1519: “no funds of this act may be used
to exercise United States economic control of the oil resources of Iraq.”

What does that mean? Why is this even included? Has their been problems with the United States using funds to economically control the oil resources of Iraq. I thought this war was first about ousting Saddam Hussein, then fighting terror, but nothing about controlling the oil resources. Is it included to reassure the American people thats not the reason were there? Or does it mean its okay if the United States uses other funds to economically control oil in Iraq?

Did you know this bill also encourages martial law allowing “the president to declare public emergency and station troops anywhere in United States to take control of state based national guard units without the consent of the governor or local authorities in order to suppress public disorder.

You know, I wonder if that’s what Mr Obama means by re-deploying troops to the United States. The definition or redeployment is to move military forces from one combat zone to another.

In his speeches to the people he says “bring the troops home”, I wondered why in his act he didn’t simply say “bring the troops home”, but instead “re-deploy to the United States”. Do you think the government is expecting an uprise of some sort among the American people? What other things will happen soon here or in the Middle East that will cause this uprise?

My fellow Americans, this is our last chance to change a brutal course the United States government is taking. Please think about everything we just went over.
Dr Ron Paul is the only presidential candidate that will stop the war, bring the troops home, ensure our safety and stop this country from collapsing.

All the celebrities out there who have spoken out against the war so many times. Where are you now? This is our last chance. Please, I am pleading to you.
