Chertoff Worries About Homegrown Nuts

0 votes

What keeps Homeland Securtiy Chief Michael Chertoff up at night?

"If you're asking me what keeps me up at night or what I most worry about -- in the short term, obviously, you worry about homegrown terrorists or somebody coming in with an explosive device or the kind of act of violence or terror that we've actually seen occasionally carried out in this country by people who are simply nuts or like a Timothy McVeigh."

I've seen that "nuts" word used a lot when talking about Ron Paul and his supporters. Is that just a coincidence?

Solution....

...secure the borders. Otherwise stop the fear campaign that keeps us beholding to the Homeland Security ruse.

“The law cannot make a wicked person virtuous…God’s grace alone can accomplish such a thing.” Ron Paul - The Revolution

He's One of Them

Who cares what this fool thinks? The American people need to worry about those who are destroying our civil rights. The "War on Terrorism" is as phony as the War on Poverty and the War on Drugs. They are really wars on our freedom.

Terrorism is being cultivated by our own politicians and their bosses at the Council on Foreign Relations. They are inviting terrorist attacks on the American people.

Are you ready to give up your freedom for their "protection"? Are you ready to become a slave? This is just a replay of what happened in Germany. The German people gave Hitler the powers he demanded. They gave up their freedom for the security he offered.

I certainly want to see an end to terrorism. That's why I am voting for Ron Paul. I don't need Chertoff to "protect" me. I can take care of myself.

BTW, if Chertof is worried

BTW, if Chertof is worried about homegrown nuts, tell him to worry about every walnut, peanut, hazelnut, macademia, cashew and almond grown on American soil ;)

I suggest that you all look

I suggest that you all look for H.R. 1955 on the net (there are several and I'm referring to the one with the terrorists). Creepy as hell!!

Especially...

...the part about how "evil" the internet is...

HAH Homegrown terrorists??

They must be getting ready to put bill S1959 on the Senate floor for a vote. I am more afraid of being hit by a beertruck than being killed by a terrorist. The biggest terrorism threat in our country is our president and his administration and Chertoff is losing sleep over the American people becoming terrorists?? Good grief, if it wasn't so sad, it would be funny.

Here we go again, right before the elections, terror! terror! 9/11! 9/11! This garbage doesn't work anymore and for everyone's information, a dirtybomb is not like an atomic bomb. The purpose of a dirty bomb is to cause fear (kinda of like our government) and will only disperse limited radiation in a 2 or 3 block area. Do your homework folks and understand what the government is using as propaganda fear to terrorize American's to give up their liberty and freedom so that the big bad government can protect us.

Quite honestly, I'm more afraid of our own government than ANY foreign threat.

Yeaaahhh

But what about beer truck driving terrrrrest? :O)

I'll go you one further: I

I'll go you one further: I am far, FAR more afraid of my own government than of any putative "terrorist threat"! The fact that so many Americans let themselves be led and blinded by outrageously overblown fear also scares me greatly, and depresses me greatly. How can SO many people be so STUPID?!

I'm more afraid

...of your government than any other terrorist threat!

can you call it treason? i wouldn't really even call him an American

heard of Infragard?

What a crock that is.

Truth exists, and it deserves to be cherished.

If you watch the footage

If you watch the footage from the day of the Oklahoma City Bombing, you will see that the story changes. There were three bombs on the inside of the building and bomb squads were shutting off the remaining two was first reported. Then it was one bomb. Then the bomb was outside. Then it was 12000 tons which had to be carried in a huge Truck. When they realized how big a truck would have to be to carry that much fertilizer, they scaled back the power of the bomb and made it a small truck. The explosion was also obviously inside the building because the pieces were thrown far from the building. If it was a truck bomb, it wouldn't have looked at all like that. The perps also conveniently left their license plate. Mcveigh was a patsy. He was severely brainwashed in the military. Clinton tried to cram through anti-terror legislation right after. Luckily, A few republicans in congress stood up to these. I hope RP was one of them.

"Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable."- JFK

Chertoff is a dual citizen

Supposedly, Chertoff is a dual citizen of the U.S. and Israel--technically speaking. He's a big-time Zionist. Zionists are the real enemy. The U.S. is a puppet of the Israeli gov't.

God is still in control...

THIS is scary too. Published by the FBI

Definitely stock up on bullets. I need to get a gun before they won't let me.

Blessings )o(

At best, 1998

At best, you have a "friend-of-a-friend told me so" source that claims these were published in 1998 (under Clinton).

So?

False flag terrorism

This is all designed to get the sheeple to believe their next series of bs lies, so they can further their agenda of completely destroying our liberties.

Because McVeigh was pro-government?

As I remember, McVeigh blew up a federal building out of anti-government hatred. It's happened before and could happen again.

get your shotguns

and ammo.

And where the HELL did all

And where the HELL did all this "Homeland" quasi-fascist jargon come from in the first place? It creeps me out! Not to mention outrages me. I'm still waiting for them to finish the program and bring back the torchlit mass rallies and new flag ---- we all know they already have the concentration camps all ready.

I thought Chertoff WAS a homegrown nut!

This proves it.

When will he go after the ELF? Or the ALF?

"Welcome to 2008: The Year of Ron Paul!"

He should worry...

..about his OWN NUTZ! Mine are just fine....I thank you.

Does my burka make my butt look fatwa?

Who is Chertoff??

Chertoff may be doing a great job but who is he actually working for? Do you think he is working for We The People, you know, America? Maybe whistleblower Sibel Edmonds knows for sure? We certainly need more Ron Pauls in every neighborhood and government office throughout our land.

"The Turks and Israelis had planted “moles” in military and academic institutions which handled nuclear technology. Edmonds says there were several transactions of nuclear material every month, with the Pakistanis being among the eventual buyers. “The network appeared to be obtaining information from every nuclear agency in the United States,” she said.

"They were helped, she says, by the high-ranking State Department official who provided some of their moles – mainly PhD students – with security clearance to work in sensitive nuclear research facilities. These included the Los Alamos nuclear laboratory in New Mexico, which is responsible for the security of the US nuclear deterrent."

[and who is in charge of security issues in the Homeland???]

This keeps ME up at night....

Did you know that the FBI has deputized 23,000 "representatives of private industry"?

Ever mindful of "NUTS" out there, hahaha, I checked it out myself...

http://www.infraguard.net/

THIS is scary.

Force or violence

You know what that means? Force can be defined as speech and ideas. That's why they also put in the word violence. So they are covered for any situation. Dr. King would have been a terrorist. Our founding fathers would have been terrorists. Are we really going to let the neocons get away with this?

!!!!!!!!

Found "rules suspension"

http://www.rules.house.gov/Archives/98-314.pdf

YIKES!!!

oops..

I mispoke, Dr. Paul was a "no vote", but "The bill passed the House of Representatives by a 'roll call vote' conducted on October 23, 2007 under a 'rules suspension' subsequently noted by Rep. Ron Paul (R-Texas) in a Speech to Congress on December 5, 2007."

"rules suspension"??? Gotta look that up...haha

S.1959

"Homegrown terrorists"....uh huh...would you like to know what they think a homegrown terrorist is? US!!!

http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bill.xpd?bill=s110-1959

Their definition of "violent radicalization", etc---

`(2) VIOLENT RADICALIZATION- The term `violent radicalization' means the process of adopting or promoting an extremist belief system for the purpose of facilitating ideologically based violence to advance political, religious, or social change.

`(3) HOMEGROWN TERRORISM- The term `homegrown terrorism' means the use, planned use, or threatened use, of force or violence by a group or individual born, raised, or based and operating primarily within the United States or any possession of the United States to intimidate or coerce the United States government, the civilian population of the United States, or any segment thereof, in furtherance of political or social objectives.

`(4) IDEOLOGICALLY BASED VIOLENCE- The term `ideologically based violence' means the use, planned use, or threatened use of force or violence by a group or individual to promote the group or individual's political, religious, or social beliefs.

But, oddly, they provide NO definition of VIOLENCE. They define "committee", but not "violence"...hmmmm....

Under the heading of "FINDINGS" in the bill:

`The Congress finds the following:

`(1) The development and implementation of methods and processes that can be used to prevent violent radicalization, homegrown terrorism, and ideologically based violence in the United States is critical to combating domestic terrorism.

`(2) The promotion of violent radicalization, homegrown terrorism, and ideologically based violence exists in the United States and poses a threat to homeland security.

`(3) The Internet has aided in facilitating violent radicalization, ideologically based violence, and the homegrown terrorism process in the United States by providing access to broad and constant streams of terrorist-related propaganda to United States citizens.

`(4) While the United States must continue its vigilant efforts to combat international terrorism, it must also strengthen efforts to combat the threat posed by homegrown terrorists based and operating within the United States.

`(5) Understanding the motivational factors that lead to violent radicalization, homegrown terrorism, and ideologically based violence is a vital step toward eradicating these threats in the United States.

`(6) The potential rise of self radicalized, unaffiliated terrorists domestically cannot be easily prevented through traditional Federal intelligence or law enforcement efforts, and requires the incorporation of State and local solutions.

`(7) Individuals prone to violent radicalization, homegrown terrorism, and ideologically based violence span all races, ethnicities, and religious beliefs, and individuals should not be targeted based solely on race, ethnicity, or religion.

`(8) Any measure taken to prevent violent radicalization, homegrown terrorism, and ideologically based violence and homegrown terrorism in the United States should not violate the constitutional rights, civil rights, or civil liberties of United States citizens and lawful permanent residents.

After passage of the Patriot Act, do you REALLY believe that??

`(9) Certain governments, including the Government of the United Kingdom, the Government of Canada, and the Government of Australia have significant experience with homegrown terrorism and the United States can benefit from lessons learned by those nations.

This has passed the House already,(H.R 1929) with only 4 nay votes...(one of which was Dr. Paul's)

It's in committee now, but they like to slip these buggers into other legislation when no one is looking.

This bill is VAGUE, to say the least, but you better believe it will effectively end free speech as we know it.
