So far RP is the only one to accept. If this does not change I am sure they will cancel this. If McCheese accepts, he will get smoked by RP and could be another stepping stone for our campaign. I doub Mcloser will accept, but RP should call him out if he does not. » |

ALL Candidates - GOP and Demorats - are invited
All of the candidates on both sides of the aisle are invited to the debate and it is only an hour long. Don't expect Ron Paul to get much time, but the time he will get will be used prudently.

Huckabee Will Accept
McCain is going to start looking increasingly foolish, if that's possible. Maybe he'll resign.

If you host it, they will come.
They will show. Just look at how long it took for Billary to accept in Cleveland. It was barely a week before the debate was to take place and she finally said she would come.
Huckabee will accept
He has very limited funds and needs all the free media he can get. National exposure on MSNBC would be great for him. Maybe this time he'll make sure everyone gets equal time. The less air time for McCain the better for him. Airtime for Ron Paul is airtime McCain does not get. Huckabee can't afford the loss of exposure or potential "blowback" from backing out.

if huck and mccain don't accept, ron paul's campaign should push to have a solo platform to speak.
i imagine huckabee will end up accepting - if you believe him, he's in this race to see how many delegates he can continue to win.
