I'm sorry I am going to have to stop paying attention to the news. This is too disheartening. Its as if the mainstream liberal media is holding all these videos back on John Mccain until the National election then they will ravage him to pieces! Obama doesn't even need to campaign in a general election with statements like this just run tv ads.
How can these so called reporters and commentators not anhilate him?
Shit if this is the choices we have I'll vote for any third party no matter what they stand for or vote for a socialist.

Before The War:

McCain used many of the same arguments as Donald Rumsfeld, Vice President Cheney and President Bush when advocating going to war with Iraq.

During The War:

Senator McCain praised Donald Rumsfeld as late as May 12, 2004, after the Abu Ghraib scandal.

Senator McCain repeatedly supported President Bush on the Iraq War – voting with him in the Senate, defending his actions and publicly praising his leadership.

The Future:

Senator McCain now says he sees no end to the presence of U.S. troops in Iraq

If they can use HR2640 to take away the guns of our veterans, how can McCain be "electable" as President and in a position to possibly launch the world's most deadly weapons?????

Summation

While John McCain can easily point to a handful of pro-growth votes over his twenty-four years in Congress, a deeper look at Senator McCain's record and rhetoric, especially in recent years, ought to give American taxpayers a long and hard pause.

To give credit where it's due, John McCain's record on spending, school choice, and free trade is extremely positive. His go-it-alone moralism sometimes results in pro-growth policies, as is the case in his anti-pork crusades. However, this moralism often manifests itself in the form of more government, less freedom, and a distrust of the individual and the free market system. This is dramatically the case in his opposition to the Bush tax cuts, his class-warfare rhetoric, his occasional support for large-scale increased government regulation, his willingness to raise Social Security taxes, and of course, his abysmal record on political free speech.

Senator McCain's outspoken pursuit of anti-growth and anti-free-market policies in the realms of taxes, regulation, and campaign finance reveals a philosophical ambivalence, if not hostility, about limited government and personal freedom. This ambivalence, combined with a rebellious nature, often leaves taxpayers the victims of his latest cause célèbre. Despite his positive votes-and there are several-his negative positions have tainted, perhaps beyond repair, the positive ones over his twenty-four years in Congress. The evidence of his record and the virulence of his rhetoric suggest that American taxpayers cannot expect consistently strong economic policies from a McCain administration.

Wonder why they aren't running any negative ads on him like they did on Huckster?

Obama co-sponsored the Darfur no-fly resolution:
"The resolution calls on the president and the United Nations to take immediate steps to end the genocide in Darfur. Expect more entangling alliances with Barack Obama. Bill Clinton got our troops involved with Somalia, Bosnia, and Iraq. It was his original actions that led to the war with Iraq under President Bush. Ron Paul argued against all of these foreign entanglements. I like Obama, he seems like a reasonable guy, but he just doesn't understand unintended consequences.

Powerful. I'd like to take this vid and burn it to stacks of disks with a nice friendly, smiling McCain label slapped on each one, and distribute it door-to-door to his supporters. And on those disks, immediately following VegasPatriot's vid, I'd add a video or video compilation of the Rx to this illness called McCain: Ron Paul.

I can understand the consternation and anger of some that would actually vote against McCain to make a statement, but to vote for a liberal socialist like Obama is just as bad. If it comes down to McCain and Obama (or Clinton), I will not vote for neither. I will write in my candidate, Ron Paul. We MUST vote our convictions for liberty regardless of the consequences. If we don't we spit in the face of the authors of the Constitution, the same people we quote and admire, including Ron Paul.
