Help Ohio win - 88 delegates at stake - March 4th Primary
Please sign up to be a precint leader in Ohio and help us make phone calls. Many here don't even yet know who Ron Paul is or they think he is out of the race. Ohio's primary is March 4th -- we still have time to make a difference. The precint leader system has been changed so those who do not live in Ohio can still "grab" a precint and start making calls.
Let's pull together and make this happen! Ohio was a deciding state in the last election and it can be a deciding state again! Ohio's economy is much like Michigan...people will be eager to listen and learn!!
Ohio is an open primary state meaning anyone registered to vote can vote in the primaries. When they go to their polling location on March 4, they just need to designate Republican to be able to vote for Ron Paul.
LET's DO IT!

Please help this new precinct leader in Wooster--time is short---she needs help with funds---very rural 500+ people to reach. I gave.
Even 10. would be a blessing and would help get the job done...essentially..she has no volunteers in her precinct to help---at all. She jumped in...all on her own...has obtained some slim jims from far meetup group...printed some on her own...but needs help with gas, more flyers, printing, etc.

Is this a Beauty Contest?
Is this a Beauty Contest? By that I mean are they voting to get delegates or are they voting to determine who the delegates are bound to for the first round of voting at the convention. If it's for first round votes, why not have everyone vote for Huckabee to ensure that McCain doesn't win Ohio.
We need this convention to be brokered. I almost wonder if Ron Paul's message on Friday was a signal for the desperation to focus on taking the right strategy to win a brokered convention.
Any thoughts. I'm not a troll... this is critical.
Not legally bound
From www.thegreenpapers.com :
Tuesday 4 March 2008: 85 of 88 of Ohio's delegates to the Republican National Convention are allocated to presidential contenders in today's Ohio Presidential Primary. These delegates are not legally bound to any candidate.
* 54 district delegates are to be allocated to presidential contenders based on the primary results in each of the 18 congressional districts: each congressional district is assigned 3 National Convention delegates and the presidential contender receiving the greatest number of votes in that district will receive all 3 of that district's National Convention delegates.
* 31 at-large delegates (10 base at-large delegates plus 21 bonus delegates) are to be allocated to the presidential contender receiving the greatest number of votes in the primary statewide.
In addition, 3 party leaders, the National Committeeman, the National Committeewoman, and the chairman of the Ohio's Republican Party, will attend the convention as unpledged delegates by virtue of their position.
So if they are not legally bound they can vote for anyone they like despite the primary results?
