That Idiotic Message On The Official Site

. . . is continuing to feed the media's misinformatin campaign, as I just saw on the Situation Room. Why on earth does HQ continue to keep that up?

Have faith

I don't have a reason, just a feeling. Maybe he wants us to do more on our own and not rely on HQ. I have noticed some more media coverage lately. You don't like ice cream too much if it's rammed down your throat, but if you don't have it for a while and have dogfood instead (McCain) you want it much more. Juts guessing, but I doubt very much that a man who has spent so long fighting for what he believes in is going to "slip away". Obviously he is a very very smart person.

Bad timing

To put that statement from Dr Paul on his website right before the weekend primaries was a very big mistake on the part of his campaign. I'm not a rocket scientist but even I went "Huh??"

absolutely agree. An incredible display of incompetence from

the campaign manager. If Snyder had any skill, he would have forestalled that release until after the weekend. Who knows what effect it had on the Washington State caucus. Unbelievable.

I called this morning & afternoon

I suggested they move the (Daily Dose - 2/9/08) statement to the main page. They are aware the "message from Ron" has caused some harm. They told me they'd let them know...

Would someone else give a call and see what they can find out about this?

Oops

Maybe I should have said ma'am.

Thank You Sir

And I'll take that as inspiration to do the same, instead of simply whining about it here.:)

The way I see all this...

I agree that the message was, perceived at least, in an odd way which was not good on the onset. However, it does a couple of things. It does allow RP to fly under the radar until his Congressional seat is secure. Keep in mind too, that die hard RPer's are still going to vote and become delegates in the same way as before. The wild card at stake is whether Huckabee stays in until AFTER RP has his seat.

It makes perfect sense for the campaign to cut/scale down to some degree after Super Tuesday and a re-shuffling was probably in order anyway. To that end, I think, as crazy as it sounds, RP will be in the same position as Mitt for a couple of months here. Remember we are only 40 days into this primary season and have 70 more or so to go. That's a long time. McCain can implode, Huckabee can draw votes and delegates away from McCain and Romney can still come into the race.

The nomination is still a months away from all the candidates at this point.

Puppets come and puppets go but the world's stage is getting cluttered.

Must be part of Snyder's secret strategy

geez....

alot of people that might have voted for him

that see him as scaling back, or believe the rumors of him dropping out, will not come to him. because a lot of people would feel it was a waist of time.

If he is not giving up, he needs to get that email down and replace it with something positive, that people can get excited about and rally around.
instead of feeding the rumors and discouraging people like I have seen here on the DP.
From what I hear on DP we have more delegates than anyone else and a better shot at winning than anybody else,, if this is true, I would think that a brilliant man like RP would also be aware of this.
People on here are either lying about the whole delegate thing and how great we look or somebody needs to let the good DR. know about it.

Or,, RP has got some stealth plan to fake everybody out and then somehow surprise everybody that got discouraged and left, and they will come back at the last minute?

I am not going anywhere and I believe in RP but this has got me confused.

Some believe it's because Ron Paul is "slowly" preparing us for

his defeat and his departure from the race. At least that is what Alex Jones is saying on his radio talk show today (infowars.com). The show is 2 hours long and continuously replays/reruns all day long for 24 hours until Alex airs again the next day from 11:00am til 2:00pm Central time when he airs again "Live" a fresh new show. At this point I don't want to think that RP is stepping out but the way things have been looking, maybe he actually "is" stepping out - but "slowly" - so as to more-or-less prepare us for what will seem to many, including myself, to be a very sad and emotionally painful, disheartening experience. I can't even imagine Ron Paul's run coming to an end, let alone the whole entire Ron Paul Revolution just mysteriously shutting down like that and one day it is here and then the next day it is gone. I mean, how could the whole Ron Paul Revolution just one day turn off the electric flow of current and just simply go back about everyday life like as if there were no charge in the batteries? But then everything seems a mixed message at this point. The so called "experts" come in here and line up all the numbers and say that it all equates (will be) a brokered convention. Then the next "expert" standing in line comes in and says that the numbers don't read "brokered convention" and that McCain will soon have it all wrapped up. Who is right? Brokered or no brokered?? As much as I like Alex Jones he might just happen to be wrong. He is making it sound like it is NOT going to be a brokered convention with McCain having 700+ delegates so far. He also mentions how the MSM just keep up their consistent LIES and say RP has "lost" even when he does win something. But Jones thinks that McCain has this in the bag or that he will soon. These bastards might just go as far as to broadcast that McCain WON even if RP were to magically pull off a win. I would not put it past them. But either way, Alex Jones does not think RP is going anywhere with just 14 delegates - is what he is saying.

We are new. Come and check us out! Purpose of our site is to quickly bring newbies up to speed regarding Ron Paul.

It was good that it got up

It was good that it got up because it reinforced that he is a Republican. Rush and all them secretly hated RP because they were sure he'd be a spoiler. Now, they are starting to budge on him because he is facing two flawed opponents. I agree they should take it down. The extra people coming to the sight should be looking at something very positive. How come I've never seen a video on the actual homepage? I'd get done watching, and be one click from donating. Id probably donate. Thats what they should do with this new message from Ron video thats coming out.

"Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable."- JFK

exactly

any attention at this point is good, they say he is out, but yet still see the blimp, or some form campaign, people will be like, "I thought he was out?" and then they will go online and maybe check his site to see if its true.
