Meet ups like you guys suggested from areas. Like either by city or county or whatever. Pitch in for gas, rent vans or something, and head out like a bunch of hippies.

By getting there, I assume you mean delegates to the Convention.
Anyone needing help should appeal to their local Meet-up. They will know if the appeal is legit.
The march on Washington is another matter. I'm in California, and I'm counting on those who are closer to show up. It worked for the rallies.

Help for delgates
Some help for delegates would be great. I agree that this should be coordinated locally. They will know who the delegates are and what their needs are, and can work on pooled travel and lodging.
As far as the march. I think it is important for as many people as possible to get to DC. Many people, however, will just not be able to get there. What if there were simultaneous marches across the country. A truly nationwide march.
March on your state capitols, march on your county seat, march at your city hall, whatever. A nationwide march would get not only national attention, but attention in every news market in the country. It would also let those that can't get to Washington DC a way to participate and make a statement. It would also show that we are everywhere.
Has anyone ever done anything like that? I think it would be great if we could pull that off, and I don't know why we couldn't.
If I'm gonna march on my state capitol I might as well go to DC
I'd have to fly to either one, and the cost for airfare would be about the same ! Little marches on state capitols would not be anywhere near as impressive, nor as unifying for the troops. Imagine how fired up we will all be if we have 1,000,000 RP supporters in DC, a day of music, marching, speeches, BBQs, and so on. That sort of event will have a major psychological effect on all of *US*, let alone the public.
We need some big name music performers and speakers. Maybe Drew Carey would MC. Ron mentioned there's lots of great musicians associated with the revolution, so we'll get all them on board. Who else can you think of?
