ONLINE POLL... for date to march on Washington....

Fellow rEVOLutionaries, I just sent an Email to Mike about possibly establishing an online poll to pick a date for the march on washington. Hopefully he will accomodate us for getting a general agreement as to when to march so we can proceed with proper planning and scheduling. Personally I think Independence day, 4th of July would be best . But I realize others have their own opinion so a poll would show what the majority thinks would be best. Either way, whenever, I'll be there to support Dr. Paul and the rEVOLution. Patriot4Paul.

screw the date (HQ will set that), but here's a thought:
Ok, so here are the real dilemmas: (I don't consider the date to be much of a problem once HQ gets behind one over another)
1. Some/many may not be able to make it to Washington D.C.
2. Fears abound that state capitol marches wouldn't be that effective as they would be small in number.
My solution? Simple.
Protest a small number of important areas so that everyone can make it to their closest event, but focus on getting the most people possible to D.C. first and foremost. I was originally going to say 5 or 6 areas would suffice, but then I thought of an even better idea. The Federal Reserve system has major branches in 12 areas... what better cities to showcase our angst (for those of you in area 5, it'd be better to go to D.C. [Board of Governors zone] than Richmond, obviously)?

Anyone else's thoughts on this? It provides a simple solution to the main two points above AND is symbolic of our monetary crisis, which I doubt many of Dr. Paul's backers would argue against.

At the most 2 locations.
Washington should be primary of course but the west coast could do a march as well.
Too many locations will dilute the numbers and the message.

Different dates...posting about why one date is better than another only creates chaos and confusion. Ban together. Get organized.

people have their own ideas about how to pick the date. Calm down with the yelling. Let the majority (or Dr. Paul ) make the decision. You do trust Dr. Paul to make it, right?
I think perhaps the site moderator should suggest combined all these forum topics concerning date choice into just one topic?

There is no time to worry about what if people take it in to their own hands and rush Washington. We can't worry about that shit. Don't you think when soldiers fought in The Revolutionary War, they thought about a lot of what ifs, they still fought didn't they? We cannot worry about the what ifs here, let's just worry about a date that is sooner rather than later. June and July is too late. May may even be a little too late. The amount and whereabouts of the nations gold reserves - which are in question - goes to the heart of the problems in Washington and the nation ie the printing of money out of thin air, so this is the ideal weekend ie Sat April 19 to send a massive message to Congress while at the same time bringing attention to Anybody Seen our Gold and the finances of the country. It allows 2 months to plan and spring blossoms should be in the air.

Actually, constituton day is celebrated on 9/17, however, 6/21/1788 (220 yrs.) was the day that N.H. was the 9th state to sign, giving a 2/3 majority of the 13 states. 6/21 is important as this IS the day that the Constitution (We The People...) became the law of the land replacing the Article of Confederation (our 1st constitution). ref: Wikipedia.com, Constitution. U.S. History 101. Perfect time for the march on DC. School is out, time to receive tax returns etc. and plenty of time to organize and make preperations for a fantastic showing of support for our goal of defending the Constitution. DC MARCH / FREEDOMFEST?
I know there was lots of talk about throwing a big music festival for freedom and to spread dr. pauls message. We have tons of bands and commedians that we know of that support the good dr. and whatever day this march happens, would be the perfect day to try to start planning this event for. 1) It would sure make quite a statement to be able to pull of a march and festival over a weekend in washington. and 2) this would absolutely motivate the planners to get planning and a great reason for more attendees to show up. Could increase our numbers ten-fold.
