Debate Reminder - October 21 at 8:00 PM ET
Submitted by Jane Aitken on Thu, 10/18/2007 - 19:06
Just a reminder about the debate. Might also be a good idea to politely write and ask them to give Ron Paul more questions, better questions and equal time to answer; questions on Federal Reserve and Internet Regulation for example.

Tonights the big night folks
Lets keep our fingers crossed that our emails and letter where actually read and not thrown the spam pile. We all know are hero has the answers and guts to tell it like it is. Now lets see if they give him a chance to share his thoughts.
Federal Slave
Who in the CORN is huckabee????
i think a genius stroke would be for ron paul to debate newt ginrich...on cspan...with romney and cain.....lets just let em wipe em all over the map!.Ron Paul and Steven Colbert!!!! with secretary of state chappelle and attorney general mencia!
Answer every question!!!!!
One thing the great Dr could do is answer every question. We know that Dr Paul is stuck at the back of the bus and only gets crap shots thrown at him. He should imediatly after the debate go back and answer every question asked to every canidate online. Even for democratic debates. This would give the people a chance to hear his opnions on all of the issues. Youtube is a great forum to get the word out but I wish that there was a site where he could link other video and links to documents that support his position. Kinnda like a file cabinet of freedom. In one folder there would be the question or subject, Dr. Paul's answers and all supporting documentation.
Any computer programers out there... this could be a great oppertunity for you. And if you need money to develop the site I'm sure that you can find a ton of maxed out doners to help.
the "secret"
I think the secret we're not suppose to know about is that Fox and so called "conservative radio" are trying to get Hillary elected. They know Rudy can't win. Once people see him in drag on a national commercial ...for most republicans he's done and they know it. Hillary would DESTROY him. Murdoch has even raised money for her.
Thomas Jefferson:
"If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their money, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them, will deprive the people of their property until t
Yes indeed
They know Rudy is unelectable, so they are indeed pushing Hillary.
Sure it's negative attention, but any attention is good attention with the generally dumb public, so they are indeed pushing Hillary.
There is not much difference between Rudy and Hillary...either one on a good day, has positions that resemble the other's.
Dr. Paul needs to demand more time
I hope Dr. Paul makes a strong suggestion for more time during the debates (like Reagan did) "The people are paying for these microphones" "70% of your viewers are against the war!"
"Our campaign raised over a million dollars in one hour yesterday, you WILL have to deal with us"
Go Ron Paul!
Washington doesn't need more lawyers.
It needs a doctor!
Dr. Ron Paul *** RX for Freedom
Another thing
Reagan did, many times, was to go around the media and appeal to Americans directly, on a common sense basis. People are still very leery of the media today, perhaps even more so. I think there is quite a bit of hay to be made using his tactics.
Washington doesn't need more lawyers.
It needs a doctor!
Dr. Ron Paul *** RX for Freedom
Fox News - MY predicition.
My take is this; they WILL give him MINIMAL if at all - questions about the war, it will be next to zilch. What they WILL give him questions about, will be the economy - SPECIALLY - RP's monetary policy, in regards to a new currency, carry gold etc. The retards will focus on this, cus the idiots out there will think he's crazy. My viewpoint comes from his interview on the Fox Business channel a few days ago. Hope it doesn't go down like this, but I think they will give him fair air time, just the questions will the ones fox has decided are the most 'radically' perceived.
In my best Dan Ackroyd voice:
.
Jane Jane Jane... this is FOX news, remember? They take their marching orders from Rupert Murdoch, so they are not going to accommodate polite requests. Their favorites are Rudy, McCain and Romney. Maybe Huckabee. These are all CFR guys, the "made" gangsters in the world of media and politics
They were patently nasty to Congressman Paul in the last debate; the post debate poll with Hannity and Colmes was snide - implying that Paul's winning numbers meant that people were repeatedly dialing or texting. Fox has always (with the exception of a few local reports) been vigorously anti-Paul and, unless someone can convince me otherwise, we will see more of it on Sunday.
My hope is that Ron Paul does not get rattled. Chris Wallace's remark, "Do you take your marching orders from al-Quaeda" was particularly upsetting. Ron rallied, but didn't like the smear one bit. Well, they're good at that. That's FOX for you.

I agree. And what's more, I even have the nerve to suggest this very thing to 'mainstream' republicans. At first they are upset, but those who have any intelligence whatsoever are starting to see the truth. I hope more of you will get out there and risk yourselves like I am, to get the keepers of the republic back on track. Enough of this dropping out nonsense. What kind of soldier doesn't stay in the fight to win? If you think it's a worthy fight you will. Don't be a quitter.
Get out to those GOP functions and put up a nice display. Talk to people. Show then by example. Believe me, IT MEANS SOMETHING. If they respect you, (and I've had 30 years of time to build up this respect) then they will respect your choice of candidate and they WILL listen. You have to consider that some people are not as up on things as we are. Their only goal is to get someone up there with an R next to his name. They have never thought about the fact that one small group controls the whole lot of them and that they should vote for the man instead.
I suspect we WON'T see that same lie this time...
I raked their asses over the coals repeatedly on that text-poll "hacking" lie, and I suspect they noticed it...The choice was "are they incompetent, or are they lying for politically biased purposes," and the votes for "incompetent" were pretty f---ing pathetic.
It would be nice if the MSM would for once turn-over a new leaf and ask the ONLY DOCTOR ON THE STAGE about health care, even if they know he's going to give a sensible, free market answer that (unlike others' big-government socialism-lite plans for control-freakery) would actually work. Honest, principled politicians like Dr. Paul are "boring" to the the chattering classes. It's much more interesting to cover a candidate whose opinions on issues can shift suddenly. It's also bias.

Donations
Let's donate more and advertise with only the major propaganda outlets in the game. Fight fire with fire. We have to donate more than we are and that my friend is the key to win this. I just signed for the 5th of November pledge; that is going to be an awesome day.
LOL
I hear you. That complete arse Dick Morris was on tonight saying Huckabee was going to be the breakout conservative...Hello Dick? He's in debt and raised no money last quarter. Ron's Miss Liberty is already showing $1.2M and that is JUST ONLINE DONATIONS not by mail.
Dick Morris tried to say McCain won the first debate, whereupon he nosedived and has never come back up, not in popularity nor fundraising.
Talk about trying to ignore the reality of Ron's support!
Dick Morris has no Political Capital
Dick was Bill Clintons campaign manager and then switched sides to the Republicans. That alone should show you he is a political whore and his opinions, for the educated, has no credence. BTW: His favorite fetish is toe-sucking.
