*** DC MARCH DATE POLL RESET!!! - PLEASE VOTE AGAIN ***
Sorry for any hassle, but at 532 votes I had to creat a new poll that's linked here (can't just zero it out).
On the previous one 6/21 was way ahead, but with new dates added it was not accurately reflecting everyone's choices and those who voted and didn't revisit may be left having voted for none when their date is now shown.
Anyway, please VOTE AGAIN and bump this to keep it on front page by commenting with your choice or comments, and let's get 1000 this time!!

Thanks for your comments and participation.
PS - July 4 and May 25 are not there. I don't know what anybody thinks anybody said on Alex Jones, and both these weekends are a ZOO in DC and we would be ignored even with a million people.
We'd be utterly lost in flag waving sheeple waiting for pops concert or fireworks on 7/4 and interfering with POW-MIA protest on Memorial Day.
Besides, we expect to need LOTS of hotel rooms, and these weekends are bad for that, couldn't get permits, etc. IF the campaign issues an official decree of July 4, of course we'll all go, but it would just about take an act of congress (or a Congressman) to make that even remotely possible. The logistics just don't work and we'd be ignored in the throngs.

Need a runoff revote
Please repost the poll with just the top two choices - April 19th and June 21st (as i recall).
April 19, 1775 - The first day of the War of Independence a/k/a
voted -
The day of the "Shot heard round the world" –
The Battles of Lexington and Concord were the first military engagements of the American Revolutionary War. They were fought on April 19, 1775.
For some months, people in the colonies had been gathering arms and powder and had been training to fight the British, if necessary, at a moment's notice.
The night of April 18th, Paul Revere rode through Concord warning everybody about the British attack. So when the British came in to take and attack the Rebels, the Minutemen, Americans who were"ready to fight in a minute," were waiting to attack at Lexington.
"Don't fire unless fired upon. But if they want a war let it begin heres" said Captain John Parker, commander of the Minutemen.
The first shots were fired just as the sun was rising at Lexington. The militia were outnumbered and fell back. Other British colonists, hours later at the North Bridge in Concord, fought and defeated three companies of the king's troops. The outnumbered soldiers of the British Army fell back from the Minutemen after a pitched battle in open territory.
More Minutemen arrived soon thereafter and inflicted heavy damage on the British regulars as they marched back towards Boston.
Following this the following states would still need to vote:
Pennsylvania - 4/22
Indiana - 5/6
North Carolina - 5/6
Nebraska - 5/13
West Virginia - 5/13
Kentucky - 5/20
Oregon - 5/20
Idaha - 5/27
Montana - 6/3
New Mexico - 6/3
South Dakota - 6/3
Convention in St. Paul - 10/1 - 10/4
R3volution
I see their voting in other countries. I love it.
Almost 300 now...
If you haven't voted, please do and then comment to keep this on front page. Almost a tie right now between 4/19 and 6/21. I get the significance of 4/19, but think the weather, time to prepare, and folks being out of school favors 6/21.
What do you think? How did you vote?
Personally, I'll be there WHENEVER it ends up being.
Voting Multiple Times
Apparently people can and are voting multiple times in these polls. I'm not trying to be negative, but a realist. What good is this polling if the results can be skewed by vote fraud?
It's about trust
I didn't create the polling site, and even on AOL where they supposedly store cookies or track IPs, McCain's folks have figured out how to vote multiple times.
My assumption is that the folks in this movement don't believe in using coercion or dishonesty to achieve their goals, and sincerely want to achieve consensus so we can get to work and make this march happen.
If that's not you or you have some agenda about pushing your date, we can't stop you I guess. Locks only keep out honest people, and our Constitution was written for a moral citizenry.
If you want to revisit and do it honorably to track results, there's a link below the "Vote" button that allows you to just show results.
Well
Are we just going to ignore that Dr. Paul has encouraged Fourth of July and it will be more of a rally than a march because of logistics.
Please reconsider
You have misunderstood what Dr. Paul did or didn't say, and I assume you're innocently unaware of what DC looks like on 7-4. Please re-read the above message and others in this and other threads about how we'd doom ourselves if we chose 7-4.
Thanks, and btw, how did you vote?
Morning
Bump to generate more votes. Please vote and RE-BUMP by leaving a comment
This Poll is BULL SH-
Ron Paul said 3-4 months in the speech, not 2-3.
It takes at least 3 solid months to get a good march, not some rushed stuff.
Taxes are also not nearly the biggest issue so I don't get why Tax Day would be up there and have the most votes.
Thanks for helping
Thanks for bringing the positivity and can-do attitude!
Just wondering - what date did you vote for, or did you just decide to crap all over those if us trying to figure this out and make it work?
Wow!!
I've got to tell you all, I'm blown away. There are votes registered already from Slovakia to Japan to NZ and Australia!!
The world is truly watching, and I, for one, can't wait to meet you at the march!!!
Vote in THIS Poll!!! the date doesn't matter if no one goes:

Asks IF you will go to Washington. Please, the date doesn't matter if no one will go.
It tracks the votes by location - and so far the East Coast people are in, but it's iffy west of the Mississippi.
PLEASE just choose the closest answer that fits on this poll!

I'd like to think
that no matter the choice, we will show up in HUGE numbers. I chose crawl over glass from 5 states away, or something like that when I voted this morning.
So many variables to consider...
1. It shouldn't be scheduled when the college (and high school) kids can't come
2. It shouldn't be on a major holiday
3. The weather shouldn't be too hot or too cold
4. The sooner the better regarding primaries
5. Doing it around (or even before) tax day would be great
It would be quite helpful to have all of the pros and cons of the various dates on the page where voting is done.
When do most students have spring break? I've seen anytime from February to April doing a quick search. It would make quite a statement to have tens of thousands of college kids marching for our constitution instead of hitting the bear bongs and wet t-shirt contests!

How to support RP's cause every day:
1. Don't use credit cards
2. Stamp your cash with RP stamp before spending
3. Take cash out of ATM, stamp, put back in bank
4. Explain to teller why you did #3
5. Repeat
What he said!

Of course you're right
No chance it'll be ideal, and it might even rain, but we have to settle at some point and then rally folks to drop whatever and be there.
Besides canvassing and voting for Dr. Paul, what else do you have going on in the next few months that's more important than this?
What date did you vote for??
I'm stunned how smart you grass roots people are.
There have been moments.
But I'm now sure that Ron is also just carried on the wave of you all!
There is hope!

PLEASE LISTEN TO THIS. Start
PLEASE LISTEN TO THIS.
Start your poll BIG and then narrow it down. For one week you should ask "what month do you prefer for the rally? April, May, June, July. Then take the top month (or two months if it is close) and ask people to choose a specific date to hold the event. This will get the best acceptable result for everybody (almost like the Dem. caucus in Iowa where people end up picking a second choice).
Interesting thought
But I don't think we need to belabor it that much. What did you vote for?
If June 21 wins, then it's June 21. If "other date in June or July" wins, we'll do another to narrow it. Etc.
Ron Paul said 2-3 Months June July is way too long!
He said we needed it sooner than that
This is exciting!!
Two clear 'front-runners' and 28 votes. Think it's time to call it yet? :-)
Old poll is not closed but has been "suspended", both threads point to new poll. Please be sure your preference is included!
Why isn't the 4th of July
on option, when Dr. Paul himself says that's the day it should be?
He did not say that. Alex
He did not say that. Alex Jones suggested it, not Ron.
Ron's own words from the video this morning said, "I'm not talking about six months or a year."
July 4th is 5 months away.
The last primary is June 3rd...
He said this has to be done rather quickly, and July 4th is not quick.
April 19th gives us plenty of time to gear up.
because everybody wants to part on that day
party drunk

Had to answer this repeatedly on previous thread, so I'm going to put it int he main body above.
thanks for zeal in fairness
just voted

You're welcome
It's really all about generating true consensus, and a fair poll is the best way to start. Everyone has a right to be heard and fairly counted, a concept that seems to be beyond the grasp of many local Supervisors of Elections. ;-)
