The State site is well ahead of CNN:
https://www.voterinfo.sbe.virginia.gov/election/DATA/2008/F8...
With 46% reporting, McCain is pulling away from Huckabee.
VA is a winner take all state, so winner by a single vote wins all the delegates.
»

The numbers are screwy
The numbers are not right one county just showed 97% of the vote and McCain with 93% and Huck with no votes.
I don't like Huck but I know that can't be possible.

More people are voting against McCain than for him
Looks like McCain would have lost if Romney and Paul weren't on the ballot.

http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2008/primaries/results/state/#VA
74% Reporting
Huckabee 144,618

What are the chances of that being two random numbers?

Rudy Gulianis numbers are exactly 1/2 of Fred Thompsons!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's not 10%
The missing digit is the SECOND digit, not the last. It's 9.8-something percent.
Funny coincidence, but not 10%.

I may be a vegetarian, but I'll defend to the death my right to eat pork!
I may be a vegetarian, but I'll defend to the death my right to eat meat!
Had it in the bag???
His biggest lead was something like 500 or 1000 votes in a state with over 300,000 voters.
If you watch the New York Times map ( http://politics.nytimes.com/election-guide/2008/results/stat... ) it's pretty clear what happened -- Huckabee won the rural areas (smaller, reported first) and McCain won the urban areas (more votes to count, reported later).
HAHAHAHA
Every time that the polling percentage goes up now.... the margin that MCNASTY has over HUCKABERRRY is exactly 11k
You clearly haven't been watching for very long
When it all started McCain was losing by 500 votes around 15% reporting. I can assure you that as the reports have moved from west to east across the state (rural -> urban) the percentages have changed pretty significantly.
And now 27,000 vote lead
Most recent update (80%) has McCain with a 27,000-vote lead.
yes I saw all that , and I
yes I saw all that , and I knew that it was going to be close, I just mean that after the 62% that the state stopped at CNN is keeping MCNASTY 11k ahead of Huckleberry NOW. I think they are pulling it out of thier butts!
It just boggles my mind to
It just boggles my mind to think that people would vote for either mccain or huckabee. Both are democrats in elephant clothing. I am beginning to think the only thing that will wake people up to what is going on in the world is for America to totally collapse. Then these same bozo`s who vote for mccain and huck will say "duh i didnt see this coming".......
Ron Paul 2012
How in the world can we get accurate results?
Let's see, the MSM is ignoring Ron Paul, and/or the vote count machines are changing the numbers, the vote counts are hidden from the public, so how do we know how Ron Paul or any other candidate we support is truly doing? If we go to the state and county GOP's, they can lie to us too.

Is CNN making up everything
Is CNN making up everything past 62% cause the State site is stuck there!!!
CNN has phones
It's possible that the state webmaster isn't the same person as the state vote counter. CNN might be able to call the state GOP and get results, even if the webmaster is still struggling.
yeah but it totally stopped
yeah but it totally stopped all together!
This doesn't make sense
8,500 people showed up to hear Ron Paul speak last weekend in Virginia at the Liberty University.
Are you telling me that in the whole state of Virginia there was only about 1,000 more people that voted for Ron Paul?
Liberty
I was there that day. What you are missing is that 7,000 of those people were students that are required to attend the chapel service that Dr. Paul spoke at.
The revolution has just begun!
Alas, I'm starting to get
Alas, I'm starting to get used to that. Look at Minnesota.

Dirty Cnn is giving him all
Dirty Cnn is giving him all the delegates, doubt that will happen!!!!!!!!!!!!
CNN says one *vote* difference
CNN is saying that if McCain beats Huckabee by a *single vote*, he "gets all delegates".
Nothing about that having to be more than 50%-
Well, Then, That's A Different Story
Stupid rule, but I suppose it's their party. A McCain victory, so looks like a good night for the Dems.

That is accurate -- Virginia is PLURALITY
All you need to do to get every single Virginia delegate (bound for 1 round) is to win by a single vote. There's no need to take a majority.
