Creating History

0 votes

I have asked this a couple times in a couple of other threads, but have yet to see a response, so I thought I'd post the question as it's own thread.

Why does everybody want to set the date of the march/rally on an already historical date or holiday?

Tax Day - we could be labeled as tax protestors and unpatriotic.

Independence Day - our purpose could be lost due to so much already going on in DC.

Memorial Day - we could be called unpartiotic.

Then there are the days like the signing of the Constitution, Shot Heard Around the World, etc. Why associate ourselves with anything other than our purpose?

I say we create history, not repeat it.

I say we march/rally on a day that we can tell our children and grandchildren about. A date that can be written about in new history books for our children's and grandchildren's children to read about.

Again, let's CREATE HISTORY.
