We have a major dollar crisis, impending economy crash, and we are fighting an unending, unconstitutional war, and our congress is debating drug use in baseball ! I want my tax dollars back now ! Talk about trying to divert the masses. No offense America but as whole we are the most incompetent unintelligent people to walk this planet. Of course I do feel the very few that have a higher IQ than a piece of cheese generally hang out here and other Ron Paul sites

The baseball thing is just a distraction.
Pay attention and you will see that every time there is some crap going on like this it is only a distraction for something that is actually important. Off the top of my head I would say this is a distraction for the retroactive immunity for the tele com guys WHICH IS BULL CRAP. These companies flat out broke the law and should pay the price the same as you and I would. This immunity thing only proves that they are guilty and that the Bush administration has absolutely no regard for the constitution or the bill of rights. isn't there something in the constitution stating that a law cant be changed after a crime has been committed?

needs to be restrained - as per the Constitution. That's our problem, Ron Paul gets it, we "get it".
I love this - it's in the Constitution, one day out of the year is suggested for Congress to meet and take care of its business. ONE DAY !
Article I, Section 4:
"The Congress shall assemble at least once in every Year, and such Meeting shall be on the first Monday in December, unless they shall by Law appoint a different Day."
ONE DAY !!! Gives you an idea of the scope and breadth of US government the founders had in mind. LMAO.
Freedom, liberty, free markets - 50 states united under a Constitution which restrains the federal government and guarantees the rights of the States, localities, and the people.

Read that Article 1, Section 4 a little closer, it says "at least once in every year", not "at least one day a year".
One meeting could last weeks even if it starts on the first Monday in December.

I agree with ye. The masses are like shoals of fish to be herded this way and that. However, ignorance is no excuse: it's their duty to be informed and stay ever vigilant and they by shirking it are allowing government to run amok. It's a choice to watch hours of garbage about Roger Clemens or maybe read about American History, God forbid, for some of these lunkheads who can tell you every stat for some of these ball players.
