Really liked the music
and everything on the video except the skeleton painted like the flag, even
though I think I understand the thought behind it.
maybe it is because I'm not a music major
But, I love it. Good job. Wish it didn't hit soooo, very close to home!! I could enjoy it even more.
maybe it's because i was a music composition major for a time...
but i find it hard to see this song as anything but cheese filled. musically and lyrically.
i'm not trying to be harsh.....i just think that it falls flat faced.
when i write, i usually get opinions before releasing anything.
criticism is KEY to creating anything worthwhile.
in any case, THIS makes me certain that i need to record better music.
if THIS is as good as WE can get, i'm saddened.
my apologies to you steve.......but then again......i'm not sorry!

Agreed.
We need better music. That’s the goal. Keep striving. We have to try to reach even one person if we can. One of us will come up with a song hopefully that will move the mainstream a little closer to our position in supporting Ron Paul and his message. I always expected it would be a well known writer or personality that would contribute it. Maybe it’s you. Why wait? Get busy and share your input with us here or maybe you already are posting your songs somewhere.
I like this song as much of any I’ve done with the help of Ralph’s video work. All of my songs are like my own children. I like to see them do well, but I realize not all listeners are going to like them for some reason. I will keep doing it because I love the whole process. I write because I have to. All of my sincerity, heart and mind are included in each title I “release”.
For the people that do like my songs and have posted such wonderful comments, I am forever grateful. :-) Thank you so much! There is huge supply of material to write about and share. There’s no turning back. We are engaged. We are united in the cause of our freedom!

Lyrically lacking a little, however, overall a great song. I liked it a whole lot!!

When I write now, it is for all of us on this path of freedom. The songs come as I imagine you listening and feeling inspired or empowered by what comes through me magically. A partnership. It used to be for my immediate band mates and sometimes my family that I write, but now it is for that important part of me that is in you and is in all of us that struggle to understand the crap we are facing and just what we can do about it, that I compose.
I so much appreciate your comments. You know well the joys of the piano. It has all the music in the world in it. :-) I am most fortunate to have been able to play one for all these years.
