Between daddywarbucks' scams; feds, noelle and slapshit...

enough disinformation is being spewed about to confuse any new folks. Come on people, let's keep on guard against this shit. Looks like they have all crawled in their holes for now.

´xcellent work my friend

I have no idea if ronpaulracing is legit or not. Until I have proof, which as you say and as common sense tells us is easily providable but for some reason for this group is suspicously elusive, I am ever-skeptical of where i send money on the net and will donate x-actly squat to RPR and will give straight to the campaign itself. You raise some very serious and well thought-out issues in your linked post.

I would like to add a bit for your arsenal- and its on the topic of what i call the 'teaser'. Remember the brew-haha over a mystery billionaire a few weeks back? I called bullshit on that as soon as i read it. However, the mysterious 'millionaire' you allude to in your linked posts - could be a product of one and the same source. That is to say, the billionaire hype plants the image in the people's minds of a saviour. The long delay as we wait for the billionaire to appear - but not long enough that people forget there ever was talk of a mysterious billionaire - creates a longing for the story to be true (if only in the back of our minds as time fades the strength of the memory and feelings of happiness associated with it). Then, a few weeks later, the "millionaire" shows up - the billionaire prophecy has been fulfilled (technical distinctions between billionaire and millionaire are mostly semantic and not fatal to the plan nor is the new format at which he appears) and people are even more elated - - precisely because they were disappointed the billionaire that excited them so much before didn't materialize - and thus people are that much more vulnerable to the scam and let their guard down when the 'ol billionaire re invents himself in the millionaire version of the scam. The psychological roots of this scam go back as far as history of man (or more precisely - language) itself - and is born out in children's stories the world throughout - at least the one's with the "happy fairy tale ending." Its a ruthless scam, which actually uses the way the brain works (at the sub-conscious level) against us.

This is a fact that has to be considered - no matter how far fetched the 'conspiracy ' to make it all happen may be. A scam with the potential to raise tens of thousands (if not hundreds of thousands) of dollars would make the most dedicated and thorough scammer salivate. This issue that you raise has to be addressed so we can protect fellow supporters and if for no other reason verify our money is being legitimately used to support the campaign and not some egotistical dirtball piece of shit internet scammer. (Personal note:i have never been scammed on the net (so far- but i dont do much on it ) but have been the victim of identity theft, so I have a personal grudge against this type of behavior).

In fact, you raise issue's in your detailed linked-posts that, if they were to be true - could cause certain responsible parties to lose their liberty (i.e, jail) and subject to civil suit for tens of thousands of dollars in potential liability. Assuming they are even anywhere near u.s. jurisdiction (and not in some off-shore extradition free zone). Which could be entirely possible.

This is not to say that the idea of a Ron Paul painted NASCAR car isn't a great idea. Because it is - given the number of people (and the majority demographic) who watch it alone. Which, of course, only adds fuel to the scammers fire. And i would hate to use these words given their source, but they seem apt - - "We Must Trust - But Verify". And you are, hopefully, helping that verification process along.

If i am missing something here I apologize in advance - as i dont follow nascar and dont know the details of sponsoring cars, etc... If the RPR has been 100% verified as legit, someone please tell me 'el pronto. Even if that happens and its all legit - great - but STILL keep up the vigilance. For we truly have to be our brothers' keeper in this fight. If you think any of this post makes any sense whatsoever, feel free to use it and incorporate as your own.

Best of luck,
windycityatty

Thank you very much for your

Thank you very much for your appraisal :)

I think you're more on target about the first 'millionaire' than you may know.

I personally remember a post that flew around here about a site called RonPaul2008Fund.com - which was outed as a scam operation and thwarted almost immediately.

I think they managed to scam a couple thousand dollars out of people, but can't say that I'm accurate in that amount.

For those who remember - and those who don't - there was one thing that came up about that site that stuck in my mind, because I am one who looked it up.
The domain name system used for that proven scam was DomainsByProxy.

That is a site that is, on the surface, perfectly legit. That company, in and of itself, simply provides a way for people to have a website online and be totally anonymous to the world. They 'hide' information for the site owner that is normally something very easy to obtain.

The DomainsByProxy system is used for a vast number of scamming operations. From sites that promote software filled with trojans, to sites that offer products for sale as 'fly by night' operations (take your money, never send the product) and yes - charity scams.

This same service is what RonPaulRacing uses for their own operation. Perhaps that is just a coincidence - but since there are no apparent reasons why they would need to have their entire operation 'hidden' behind a mask of secrecy, we are left to make our own assumptions.

Every passing hour this rabbit hole gets deeper - and more people seem to be seeing this. I do notice that the continual defensive responses (though they contained no substance) from the RonPaulRacing site has dwindled to basically nothing in the past hours.

For a site that is so determined that they need to raise a hundred thousand dollars by tommorrow - they sure did vanish quickly.

Now all we see are the occasional false flag posts cropping up.. and they're not working either. Since my first check at daybreak today, it appears the site has fewer than 10 more donors now. Even a single donor, in my opinion, is too many when so many questions remain unanswered. However, I'm sure they are probably promoting elsewhere for this site, and we cant be everywhere.

If they would just come out and give us the information we've asked for - they could solve this problem quickly. After all, it is their problem to deal with.

Agree -

However, its certainly possible there is a legitimate "legal" reason they use the domain by proxy method- and I used scare quotes intentionally. There is a possibility that a Ron Paul '08 type racecar could trigger election law issues and even possible criminal liability. I don't do election law so I cant be sure. If this were the case, and its a big if - I could see the proprietors hiding themselves for the purpose of protecting themselves from prying government eyes.

Since they won't come clean, all we are left with is idle speculation. Which as you correctly note, they can put an end to quickly. The fact that they haven't, given their own self-imposed timeline - is quite telling.

And just so everyone's clear - I dont want to be a cynic. I hope its legit. I hope if it is legit they reach their goal and pull it off. But I absolutely REFUSE to be a victim and if its within my power will help others to avoid being potential victims as well. And so should all of you. VERIFICATION!! (that doesn't come from the ronpaulracing website itself) Its so simple...

could Daddy Warbucks

be the ratted tail? Or have I gone off the deep end here? I just want to love...And trust some people.

If that is what you got out

If that is what you got out of the article there.. then you've been paying attention to what is going on around here lately.

If you've gone off the deep end.. then rest assured that there are plenty of others down that hole to catch you as you fall :)

sometimes I have to kick

myself for a split second when I doubt My ability to be a logical thinker. I can trust and be logical, thanks for reminding me?

Can't link to it

I've tried about 4 times and it keeps coming up as unable to connect.

You can also get to it this

You can also get to it this way:

1. Go to www.eteli.com
2. Click the 'Forums' link in the blue bar across the screen
3. Click the top Discussion Group "2008 Presidential Race"

It should be the topmost Discussion title you see

TY for the heads-up!...

"In circuit motorsport, a driver has..."Paul position" when he or she starts a race at the front of the grid."

good info...thanks

I have had these thoughts for awhile now...just glad to see others do to.

Jesus is the saviour of the WHOLE WORLD, "As in Adam all die, so too in Christ ALL shall be made alive." (ICor.15:22) All means all. The pagan 'hell' of literal fire & eternal torment is a lie and is SPIRITUAL TERRORISM. http://www.hopebeyondhell.net/blog

Bump

I have had suspicions about a lot of stuff on this DP site.
