Putting the finishing touches on a sponsorship deal in an upcoming MMA Championship Fight. It is a Showtime Exclusive and will take place March 29th in San Jose, CA. Showtime has 14.43 MILLION subscribers.

Cung Le vs. Frank Shamrock Middleweight CHAMPIONSHIP

We are looking at having "Ron Paul Revolution" on his shirt and trunks. Also, he will thank the Revolution after the fight when they interview him in the cage. Le is a Vietnamese AMERICAN! His family fled Vietnam just before the fall of Saigon.

organization? It does not seem to be UFC, WEC or Pride. So who is putting this on? There are a couple of StrikeForce events around here, but they would never make SHO.

to sponsors? Floor seats are going for $400 a piece. I would never pay that to see an event like this, but if it was to support RP I would seriously consider it.

No dice. UFC doesn't give out tickets either. I am going to talk with the agent 2moro and see if I can get some signed shirts from our fighters to give away to random donors or the biggest donors. Right now, i am trying to figure out if I need to form a PAC or not. Looks like I will have a busy day 2moro.

Thats the goal. Good thing is that it is mainly just me. So the internal squabbles simply do not exist. There are some working behind the scenes. Acouple of RP guys I will give a shout out to once we get it done. They are very very helpful. The one guy made that pic on the front page.

faith. The reason I asked the question is that I am really sucking for funds to help the cause. Unfortunately, I really need to do cost benefit analysis for where we donate. It sucks, but I can no longer throw money every which way.

How can we assure you that this is real. I fully understand people being weary of scams. No doubt. Any help on this issue would be fantastic.

I have my name, town and meetup group in the contact section on the site.

One thing that I do want to do is to publish the signed contract and receipt of payment once the deal is done. I am not to fond of publishing donor's names either.

Any advice is much appreciated.

Is this Showtime event one of those that you have to pay extra for, or is it just part of the standard showtime package?

Not that it matters much, because they'll still pull in around a million viewers for the event even if it's a paid one, but if its not a 'pay per view' event, that number will rocket up
