My reading list
I am currently reading Ron Paul's newest book, A Foreign Policy of Freedom. I have started a reading list of books I want to read in the future too. Being part of this campaign so far as given me quite an education already. My want list of books so far is eight different books and growing. My next read will be Judge Napolitono's new book. I appreciate posts like these because it steers me in a good direction for doing some research and reading. Thanks.

I am not going to quibble one bit about quotes or context, but the substance is correct and on-target.
As readers of Daily Paul may know, I often post comments that the media are owned and controlled by a variety of factors: corporations (some are defense contractors), the Council on Foreign Relations and the CIA. They will just not let any story that threatens them, or casts them in a dim light, go forward.
This goes back to the days of The Pentagon Papers, when , in 1971, the New York Times published this damning account of the Vietnam war. After that, the CIA moved in, access to the White House was limited and the news outlets got the message.
And yet, many think that sending a polite note to FOX or CNN will get them to say, "Geez, how wrong we have been! We had better start doing more nice pieces about Ron Paul!" It will never happen.
Now, there are, occasionally, positive pieces about Dr. Paul. This is because the media want to appear fair, without actually being fair. So there are little pieces, few and far between by Tucker Carlson or Jack Cafferty. They are allowed to run; good for appearances. But you will just never see much about Ron Paul in the national media. Sorry!
Emails and notes, after the fact - such as when Ron Paul is marginalized during a debate on one of the networks - may be a good way to let off steam, but, in the final analysis, nobody reads them. They are deleted wholesale.
Some say, "Well if Ron Paul wins New Hampshire, they will have to notice us!" Maybe a small mention, but that would be about Romney losing, and not Paul winning. We've seen this before.
Anyhow. forget the media. They are lapdogs and have been for some time.
Out of context quotes
I haven't seen the context of all those quotes but, for example, the Bill Clinton quote in full is, "I think -- you know, we can't be so fixated on our desire to preserve the rights of ordinary Americans to legitimately own handguns and rifles -- it's something I strongly support -- we can't be so fixated on that that we are unable to think about the reality of life that millions of Americans face on streets that are unsafe, under conditions that no other nation -- no other nations -- has permitted to exist."
If you look at it in it's context then it's not as bad as it's made out to be. Some Woodrow Wilson quotes are out of context too, if you actually look at them. So, it makes you wonder how the author has teken the rest of the quotes out of context...

I know the "Constitution is just a piece of paper!" quote from the current George Bush is nothing more than a rumor, completely unsubstantiated, and began from a horribly unreliable source.

Amazingly, Most individuals even when presented with quotes such as these will either dismiss them as meaningless or still say that people that bring them up are members of the "tin foil hat brigades". But mention the names of the people to whom the quotes are attributed and they will probably tell you they respect and follow them... go figure.

(AO-Newswire) -- The Illuminists have now put into play the final power grab to seize control of the 3 traditional forms of main stream media, Television, Radio and hardcopy-print media (newspaper, magazine, book publishing)
The United States Federal Communications Commission is now set to consider total revision on the ownership of Television and radio stations. For decades a station ownership was highly restricted to prevent monopolies in local city markets. The idea was to prevent local news censorship and government corruption that might develop if all news media were under the control of a few.
The original authors of the Federal Communications Commssion laws and ammendments that were written fifty, sixty and seventy years ago encouraged a widely divergent ownership in order that there would be a wide range of viewpoints for local communities in part to prevent monopolies and the threat of local corruption. However, since the mid-1970s, the pendulum began to swing away from exclusive, individual ownership and began to permit large corporations from owning more than 7 television stations and 7 radio stations in the nation. Eventually those numbers kept expanding but local limits remained, which in turn limited national ownership.
Another aspect that limited ownership of stations was the prohibition against newspaper companies also owning television and or radio stations. Eventually the rules allowed newspapers to own stations in cities where they didn't have newspapers. Now that rule is up for change too.
If the FCC chairman has his way, by the end of the year, Big Media Conglomerates will be able to complete the sweep of ownership, further shrinking supervening control and authority over "mainstream news media."
What is happening is that the Illuminists are moving swiftly now to get the final chess pieces in place for the final end-game in their quest for World Conquest and the presentation of humanity for slavery under the control of supernatural forces of the Satanic forces waging a cosmic revolution against the Creator of the Universe. Part of the end-game strategy is to have the maimstream media under the tightest controls possible with as few hands involved in the control process as possible. To do that, media ownership needs to shrink still further than it has til now. There are stil too many people, too many "owners."
It would appear that the Illuminists are ultimately looking to move total main stream media control into the hands of just two, three or maybe four or five companies, worldwide. To reach that goal, laws and regulations have to be changed and judged on how the FCC is looking to allow changes, it appears the Illuminists need it NOW.
Normally, the FCC rulings involve a long period of time for changes to be implemented. I know it used to be two or three or even as much as 5 year time frames for changes in ownership rules. To see the intention to apply a regulatoins change in 2 months or less is shocking and unprecedented. So why so fast? What's up?
The Illuminists appear to be trying to step up the pace of the agenda. According to some Illuminati-watchers, the NWO agenda has fallen behind its timeline agenda for goal-achievements. Originally, the Illuminists and the New World Order crowd had intended to hand over the world and humanity to their "messiah" the Antichrist by the year 2000. That time has come and gone without reaching that goal.
From what we now gather, the next target for the New World Order is December 21. 2012, which is the winter solstice which allegedly ends the Satanically-oriented Mayan occult calendar, which claims to be the end of the world - and the start of a new 25,000 year cycle of life. Supposedly during the switchover, Earth aligns with the center of the galaxy or universe and undergoes great physical changes to the planet due to galactic disturbances sweeping through the solar system. All of this is "alleged" and whether we think it or not, the thing is "They do." For that reason, here again you're going to see further escalation of New World Order efforts to transform the world into a One-World government in the next 5 years.
For that reason, we can expect massive terror events and major warfare, perhaps nuclear war. The Illuminist's agenda as outlined by Freemaonsry's Albert Pike, aka the head of the Illuminati in the last few years of his life, indicated that a third world war would be engineered by the Illuminists. It's interesting that the article uses this date and says "Satanically-oriented Mayan occult calendar"
Just two weeks ago, a publisher hired me to write a book on 12.21.2012... I was very skeptical at first that this date had any real significance, but after much research, I can say that it does on a number of levels. Before I go into that, the Mayan calendar is not connected with Satanism. If anything, it is more closely related to ancient sun-worship that contemp Christianity is based on. Ok so, that date does have a scientific significance that ancient Maya were able to understand and incorp into their religion/ceremonies/calendar (which were all connected to them). At this point, I understand that 2012 will bring global change on a purely scientific level, as we will cross the galactic equator and experience pole shifts and possible geologic catastrophe.
What I have come to believe, and I came up with via independent research, is that the NWO does see this as a date for change and will probably use it as a power grab. While I remain a skeptic of religious significance (as I am not religious in any real way), I do understand that THEY REALLY DO BELIEVE THIS. No matter how anyone may laugh this off, they are serious and, if they follow through with their power grab, it doesn't really matter if the cosmic stuff is true or not. They will make it a self-fulfilling prophecy through action.
We must remember that many power elites have publicly spoken of basing their decisions on star-gazing, from Hitler to Nancy Reagan (no connection implied). We do not need to believe as they do, to understand that they believe it.
Denying this, based on it's apparent absurdity, would be like denying a suicide bomber's belief that they will be met by a hoard of virgins in the after-life. We may not believe in those virgins, but their bombs are just as deadly. We have every reason to take them at their word, when they claim to believe this stuff and act on it, we will be in the crosshairs.
