We need to get in touch en masse with people like this

People like Bob Fischer and James Dobson. Heads of MAJOR conservative organisations. If we can bring enough of these groups together and show them that there is a genuine Goldwater conservative ACTUALLY RUNNING FOR THE NOMINATION RIGHT NOW then perhaps together we could produce a show of force strong enough to convince the GOP to get McCain out of the way and finally get behind our guy.

The voter base - the influential ones - are clearly stating that they do not want McCain. They have a viable alternative in Ron Paul. Perhaps with enough pressure from these vital conservative groups and the show of strength in the Freedom March we could generate enough impetus and support to stage a revolt against McCain at the convention and win it by a landslide. Public perception is hugely important and if there was a strong movement in place for this then maybe it would be enough to push the delegates at the RNC into seeing sense and getting behind the good Doctor.

Hello!

I like how the man quoted in the article wished that another pro-life God-fearing Republican would rise up. I'm like "HELLO!" Yeah, they probably wouldn't support our man if they don't already. Either they don't know about him, they think he's unelectable (I'm coming to detest that word), or they can't get over the fact that he want to turn over the abortion issue to the states.

What the article doesn't mention

"...the prospect of a third-party candidate siphoning off even a half-percentage point of McCain support could be a difference-maker"

There is already at least 10% of the Republican primary voters who will NEVER vote for McCain (that's us!)

The Problem

If they are not supporting Dr. Paul now for the Republican nomination, I do not believe they will support him third party ... but I may be wrong.
