Ok, this puts my mind at ease; I hope it helps someone else.

I just got off of the phone with Tim Winski from Activ8, the marketing firm for Fitz Motorsports and he has confirmed the pending sponsorship is legit. After he and I spoke this morning, he contacted Armando Fitz (team owner) and Kenny Wallace(driver) to confirm, since he (Tim) had not been directly involved in the deal.

This gives me more peace of mind than any PAC number ever will. My money will be on the way!

No, sponsorship deals are announced all the time and then fall through due to money. I have not heard any clips, I'm sure they just said they were working on a deal, not that it was completed.
