US Dollar Collapse & Preemptive Nuclear Strike

Perhaps a play on words... Bush's continual talk about Iran's Nuclear Weapon development. I came across an interesting article that was released back in 2006 and suddenly things are starting to make more and more sense to me in 2008. Take some time to read the article and share your thoughts on the forum.

Russia

Don't forget that they are a big player in this. They see the Ruble as a replacement currency for the dollar for that region, and judging by the fly over this past week, does not like that the US is trying to nix yet another one of their deals....

Agreed

If Russia stands behind Iran with this new oil exchange it will easily get off the ground. I really see no way Iran can succeed in the face of such strong incentives for the US to crush this new market unless Russia's power is brought to bear. We'll see soon enough.

Not he who controls oil

But he who controls the money supply.

Oil is still subject to market forces.

It cracks me up

that people believe there are 'market forces'. There are not. There is a manipulated market, the world over. And there are 'consumers'. Individuals are not market forces anymore. They are fed options; that is a consumer.
And governments are not market forces. There is much less 'geopolitical tension' than one would imagine, once you remove the 'manufactured' tension, strings pulled by the global elite.
But,oil is a market force in the sense that it's marketability relies on it's production which is finite. [how finite? don't believe we really know. i mean, really know. only what we are told.] It is also only a market force so long as competitive energy sources are supressed.

Interesting

i don't subsribe to 100% of this [and it would be considered for those open to 'conspiracy talk',so click link at your own risk]...but I do believe that Iran is a charade, just as the US in Iraq/ME for oil or dollars is also a charade, part of the 'create order out of chaos' game the elite(called by many names) are playing.
This is all a big game, including with Russia.
Don't forget, communism was the hoax of two generations ago;they play off of that memory. [Hoax of last generation? New age-ism; world peace is coming, etc.]
Anyway,just a link if you're into it

Several threads on DP

Please search DP for "Iranian Oil Bourse".

Your thread isn't being ignored - There have been extensive posts on this topic, particularly in relation to the many Internet cables that were cut since 2/1 to delay its opening. (It was scheduled for 2/11; I believe it has been postponed to 2/19).

Per this site http://www.internettrafficreport.com/asia.htm, Iran has only had Internet traffic routed through the US or (another country).

Blowback

It's all around us. This bunch we have will never learn.

Give us clear vision, that we may know where to stand and what to stand for - because unless we stand for something, we shall fall for anything.
~ Peter Marshall, US Senate Chaplain 1947

Hard to Imagine

Iran entered into an multi-lateral agreement with Russia and
three other nations in that region for trade and mutual protection
some months ago.

Putin has stated publicly at the end of those talks that Russia
will not tolerate attacks against trading partners to that agreement.
It's hard to imagine that Bush would provoke a direct confrontation
of that sort...

Isn't it??

Well...

I've heard it said that whoever controls the oil... controls the world. Isn't that what the initial idea was of the European bankers back in the beginnings? In answer to your question... it is hard to fathom that someone would believe that their control of the world oil could substantiate the killing of so many innocent people and the total disregard for so many more in countries around the world. What is even more sad is that so many Americans have no idea of what is really going on behind the scenes.

Control the oil.. control the world

Nope.. control how you BUY the oil... control the world. In this case, in US dollars... that's why the Bourse is kinda scary. As others have said, there are multiple threads on DP about this.. ;)

Consent

Well.whoever controls the oil controls the world relies on the people willingly believing that to be true. It is a two-fold statement.
It is more that whoever controls the 1 thing the people believe controls them, controls the people themselves.
Next up: seed patent privitization,water privitization,global warming,etc.
The real goal is continued and total control, through whatever means they can talk people into. The petrol phase is just that: a phase. Does it really control you? Depends on how much you view 'you' as your lifestyle. Yea,I get it,most people are dependent upon foods, etc now through public infrastructure and private corporations, transport, etc. But still.....
