Don't believe in NAU or the Texas Tran Corridor? Tell that to....

the poeple in Texas who are getting it rammed down their throats and their land taken away. Land that has been in their families for generations......and the MSM just ignores it while the people who bring it up get called "conspriacy loons".

Some have commented on the language used in this article, none of which I endorse.....that is not the issue. The issue is that people are having their land taken from them and their lives destroyed. And we are losing our country while the gov't denies the NAU or the Texas Corridor highway even exists.....

Yes, maybe the language hurts the delivery, but we need to look past this and stop being sensitive to every detail.....our country is at stake.

We have become a soft country because everyone feels violated......do you think the Nazi's spoke politely to their prisoners?.......get real folks....your country will be gone soon and all the proper language in the world won't change it.

Spread this to everyone you can.....

ASK THEM THEIR RANCH IS PART OF THE HIWAY, the real reson they had to go..This isn't just Branch Davidian paranoia. The Metropolitan Planning Organization in Waco confirmed that the 77 acres that make up Mount Carmel are included in a study for the road — although the Branch Davidians are hardly alone. The highway, known as the Trans-Texas Corridor, could gobble up more than a half-million acres of private property. Texas would obtain the land through eminent domain, which allows the government to seize land for public good. Still, the news of the highway plays into the Branch Davidians' worst fears.

"This type of a project could easily play into some of that paranoia," said Byron Sage, the FBI's chief negotiator during the 1993 siege. "Hopefully they will be able to check public records and so forth to see it wasn't specifically diverted to go through their property."

Doesn't bother me! He's generally a good writer, read other stuff of his. Appears to be a bit of nit-pickin' goin' on here.

His articles aren't written for the masses.

I've been watchin' the "Highway".

I added a ton of links about the NAU, NAFTA Superhighway, Canamex highway at http://www.dailypaul.com/node/38644

Please look:)

You gotta be kidding me

"A man named Hussein...Stalinist Womanoid...rampaging bull dykes."
I admit that the rest of the article doesn't sound so bad but those references to Obama and Clinton are bigotry at its worst.

Sorry, but they deserve it. They are criminals and

traitors to America. They are just waiting for their chance to destroy our country. How much respect do they deserve?

The problem I see here

Is that many people are assuming that all people who don't agree with Dr. Paul want to destroy the country. The problem is that just because someone doesn't agree with Dr. Paul (and by extension, us) doesn't mean that they are evil or trying to "destroy the country." Yes, Clinton and Obama have both down questionable things but somehow I doubt they are out to topple America. Dr. Paul obviously has made mistakes but no one can legitimately say that he wants to ruin the country.
Use your brains and common sense people. Fixing the problems that America is facing is going to take more than angry rhetoric and shield-bashing. You've got to try to understand your neighbor's views and get them to understand yours. Dr. Paul himself says that a true libertarian does not see classes of people, only individuals.

I wish you wouldn't focus on that....the real issues are people

losing their lives and we are losing our country......

Wishing won't stop it from offending and scattering the very people we are trying to convince of our sincerity; reasonable ones.

You're right

and injecting such language into an topic that would sell itself otherwise is a complete turnoff.

It lessens the impact of what's being done. There is no need to insult anyone when your point is valid.

I agree, but I was able to look past the language......

that was not important to me.....what is important is the issue at hand. This is not a time to be sensitive when people are having their way of life destroyed and we are losing the country we live in.
A perfect God is not made imperfect by imperfect people.

I was able to overlook it, as well....

BUT-- a lot of people CAN'Tand WON'T look past the language, and so something so important is rendered impotent.

Look, I am on the same page as you

I guess it comes down to what is more important, the message or how it is being delivered....for me it is the message.

A perfect God is not made imperfect by imperfect people.

I know

but you seem to not understand WHY this would be a big deal for some. I was trying to explain it to you.

I thank you for your help, but I do understand

....the language is just not important to me.....so it is hard for me to relate to how people put more importance on the comments in that article ahead of someone having their land taken from them because the gov't says so.........we are no longer a free country, and some people don't see that as one of the most important issues....

A perfect God is not made imperfect by imperfect people.

It may not be important to you

Language is the only way we do have to get the idea across. Imagine going to a job interview and as you're walking in the door you tell yell at the person just finishing "f-you you dyke-muslim-blah-blah-blah". That would most likely be the start, middle and end of your interview. We face the same problem with this article.
Wouldn't matter how great you could be at your job, the interviewer would never want to find out.

Look, I get the point......

I think apples need to be compared to apples and not oranges.....one day, and it may be soon, we will all wake up and life will be very different. Then, who said what in a certain way isn't going to matter.....it is the importance of the issue I am stressing.

Of course you couldn't use that type of language in normal everyday interactions with people....but we are talking about losing everything here, not a job interview.

Those people in Texas will have their ranches taken away, and my Aunt may be one of them. Why don't you ask her how she feels about the language in the article?

A perfect God is not made imperfect by imperfect people.

I thought...

the "rampaging bull-dykes" comment was funny.

So sue me.

Its not funny

when you consider what our goals are and how perception is a big part of either winning or losing.

You got that right..

Tthat kind of language only serves to undermine the content. It's no wonder everyone thinks it's just a "theory"....

Sad...very sad....

We should invite this man

to speak at our March at DC, as time goes on this whole movement will gain in momentum, as people are personally affected.

Alan Stang was one of our special speakers at the Tyler, Texas Line in the Sand Conference we had last month. He's is a very powerful speaker with lots of knowledge, background and connections in the Patriot Movement.. One of the most telling things that he told us at the end of his talk was that there are groups around the country, even in the military that are prepared for martial law. There will be a fight if it comes to that.

What a POWERFUL article -

~Live life to its fullest, with an open heart, open arms and most important... an open mind~

You know...

All it took to make me a believer was reading about how the company contracted to build the Texas Tran Corridor bought up all those Texas newspapers.

I didn't believe the news site I got the info from so I went to the financials.

It's THAT kind of crap that really makes you mad. It's all out in the open, it's just that the TV population doesn't care. If somebody brings it up to the MSM, they say "Are you claiming there's a conspiracy? You kook...it was all in the open" .....uhhhhh.....wtf just happened?

Blows my mind on a daily basis.

Link to info?

If you have a link to the info regarding that company buying up the newspapers, I would love to see it. I hadn't heard that before.

Excellent article

From one of our best journalists connected here-if not the best, probably the best. I send his to my email list. I'll bet they just shake their heads.
