I Need some Expert or Near Expert delegate information

Before SuperTuesday here in Arkansas, we RP supporters here in Hot Springs were rushing to become delegates before Feb. 5th. Feb. 4th was our deadline. Yesterday, when I went to the RP campaign website, I seen that there is a list of States where RP needs more delegates; Arkansas was on that list,

So here is where I need help. Was not Feb. 4th the last day to become a delegate in Arkansas? If not, in becoming a delegate now, is the process and fee ($125) the same?

Thanks,
Bishop Kinley

Go to this website

It looks like it is to late to file for delegate but in the pdf of the 2nd link given they talk about vacancies of CD delegates (in the case that not all were filled by filing deadline ) would be filled by vote of the delegates that were elected at CD and State Conventions. That was a mouthful. Good luck.

I'm Not An Expert, But

It may be that you don't have to be a state delegate to be selected as a national delegate from your state to national. Perhaps they're asking for people to commit to going to St. Paul.

It's a multi-step process, somewhate like our electoral college. That would account for two different deadlines. Check your state GOP site.

I actually like the idea of electing people to select the nominee. I think it guarantees they study the choices more in-depth and are able to change their minds if late-breaking information comes out about the candidates.

One of our problems, I think, is having bound delegates.

What do you think? http://consequeries.com/

You only had untill Feb 4th

You only had untill Feb 4th to become a delegate to be voted on in May in AR so if you have not registered it is too late for your state.

See my post here on delegate information and pass this link to anyone you know.

I read that already

I know the date is past, however, the campaign site put up a page located here asking for more people to become delegates in my state.

Here is the note and link posted on the 15th of Feb...

.Almost all the emphasis of the media and the other candidates during the election season is on the results of the primaries and caucus straw polls. But the delegates matter too — and potentially they matter much more. For that reason, we need as many Ron Paul supporters as possible to become delegates at all levels, especially in selected states. To that end, we’ve set up a new page to recruit Ron Paul delegates. Check it out. (my state is ON the list).

So, why would he say he needed more people in Arkansas to become delegates on Feb. 15th, when our original seadline date was the 4th? He even has a new banner put up on on the Become a precinct leader page

Thanks
