This article (posted at 8pm tonight) is the Victoria Advocate's endorsement of Peden. For those of you not in the District, this is big - and we need to really show a high comment count on this! Victoria County will carry A LOT of votes in the March 4th Primary.

or at least from Texas. Most of these people already know who RP is. Having a bunch of outsiders telling them stuff when the only real argument against RP is that he is focusing on other things than his district, isn't going to help, it will hurt.

In running for his congressional seat, I'm not too concerned with. It is very different than running for Senate or President. Running for the seat he probably has down to a science really. I imagine this election will be more public and talked about much more in the district but in the end I'd be hard pressed to believe the results will really change. I mean the only real change I would expect is higher voter turnout, but for both him and his opponent. Either way, he's basically got a lease on the seat.

How in the hell can any sort of news endorse a candidate? By endorsing a candidate it is declared biased. I just fail to see how they can get ayaw with it. If I was a suporter of the other candidate I would quit buying the news paper all to gether. Why doesn't this happen? Why does it not affect their sales? Why do people not react in this way. If they did I am sure there would be no more endorsements from any news papers.
