A Couple of Questions

My guess is that it is straw poll result since I don't think there could be some 24 000 delegates in Clark. But how many delegates were selected to each of the county conventions and who are they?
I have also heard rumors that we did way better in delegates than in the straw poll but can anyone verify this?
Also does anyone know what method is used by the county conventions to select the delegates to the state convention?

I did look at the link and it says
that Mitt Romney won that primary and received 51% of the vote and 17 delegates. Dr. Paul got 14% and 4 delegates. Romney has dropped out, but still has 17 delegates. Are you implying that Dr. Paul has received those delegates? Look, I wish that they all had gone to Dr. Paul, but they didn't and stating that he "won" Nevada is simply incorrect. Come on. We encourage others to deal with the truth that Dr. Paul sets forth, when other candidates refuse to do so. We ought to do the same.

A New Scorecard
With the same style thinking as Nebula, I came up with a new scorecard. If you remove all the candidates that are no longer running, Ron Paul looks a lot stronger. You can bet I'll use this scorecard when someone says he isn't doing so well.
Washington-Virtually Tied
Wyoming-Tied
Nevada-1st
Montana-1st
N. Dakota-2nd
Alaska-2nd
Maine-2nd
And obviously 3rd in every other state that has voted.

Let's keep DailyPaul about Ron Paul for as long as we can. (I've heard every argument for why truthers should post truther stuff on DailyPaul or the one more website I have to check out to be considered one of those who have "researched for themselves".)

The Straw Poll is meaningless
Now it comes down to how many RP delegates were chosen in the precincts.
I understand that we did well - better than in the straw poll.
Lets speculate that we twice better in delegates to the county than in the straw poll. That would give us roughly third.
The bad news in this is off course that we don't know how the county delegations will be chosen.
This is NOT meaningless... at least not for Ron Paul...
I see that nobody is contributing to his money bomb today. He will be lucky if he even pulls in $100,000 from it. So I fugure that people need to be recharged with as much positive energy regarding Ron Paul news as they possibly can be, Too bad you don't feel the same way. Oh hell, why shouldn't we just talk more negative about Ron Paul and the campaign. Yeah, well one thing is for sure...today's money bomb is "meaningless"! Ment that in a positive way - Doing good in delegates
My point was that we are doing better in delegates than in the straw poll that Mitt won hands down.
The money bomb was third in very little time span and benton's comment that we have some 6M in the bank and no visible advertising ie need for more funds might cause the lackluster performance today.
At the same time people have contributed some 300 000+ to the congressional bid so it's not as grim as it seems.

What difference does it make
whether Dr. Paul won by default or not? He beat McCain who is now the frontrunner and that's great. This battle is far from over. Keep donating and don't give up. That's what the neo-cons are hoping for, that we'll give up.

Delegate Count
The percentages on the Political Dashbaord are correct, but we have to remember that both the Romney and Thompson delegates are not simply reassigned, but rather become free to vote any way they wish, unless Nevada GOP rules say otherwise.

Ok, if he won by default, then why did the Nevada GOP report 97% reporting 15 hours ago? WHY??? And then a few hours ago the Nevada GOP updated their page to say 100% reporting? WHY??? Yes Mitt dropped out a while ago, but that was then - this is NOW! So where do you come up with this "default" thing? You also state "if you ["I"] want to "wage war with me [you]..." Well, funny to say, but it appears more to me as if SOMEBODY is attempting to "wage a war" with ME!
