Hold Them Responsible
We all know that the main issue we have with our government is our inability to hold them responsible (short of electing someone else) for bad legislation. What if, instead, we as citizens could serve citizen's arrests to any legislator, at the state or federal level, who has violated the Constitution? We all know the Occupation in Iraq (I refuse to call it a War) is illegal, so then, any member of Congress that continues to fund it is doing an illegal act.
In addition, what about the provisions in the Hague Conventions that talk about an occupying force in a country not able to sell land or assets unless just compensation is given to said occupied land. But, that is what we are doing now in Iraq. Forget for a moment that we all dislike supranational laws.
Anyone with any knowledge on the legality of citizen's arrests and whether or not we could do this?

Right ...
But only Congress can impeach the President. How do we as citizens go about impeaching Congress--other than voting them out?
Again, look under impeachment.
All public servants, no matter their governmental capacity; judicial, executive, legislative, et al., are subject to impeachment, and, if applicable, criminal and civil prosecution. But you better have the evidence if you want to make it stick, otherwise you're just on a fishing expedition. Impeachment is taken very seriously at this level. All other proceedings are required to stop until the matter is resolved. The Constitution gave you a remedy for corruption. Are you willing to study my fellow Americans? .
