Federally-Funded Study Will Pay You to Talk about your Relationships!

0 votes

Sorry, I was just job hunting on craigslist and found this... Feel free to take a moment and bombard these people with phone calls asking them where in the HELL does our Constitution allow using our taxpayer dollars for this kind of B.S.?

Are you between 18 and 30 years old?

Are you interested in participating in a new study about relationships between men and women?

The Project on Partner Dynamics is a new study about sexual behavior and relationships between men and women. Participants can earn up to $150 by completing 4 interviews in the next year. Participants also receive $10 to cover travel expenses to each interview. Additional compensation is available to participants who need childcare. Each interview takes 60-90 minutes.

You don’t have to be in a relationship to take part and everything you say will be kept strictly confidential.

sorry, my bad

my point was more about how silly the project is than anything... if you want to find out who arranged the funding or just call to nicely plug RP, go for it!

How to support RP's cause every day:
1. Don't use credit cards
2. Stamp your cash with RP stamp before spending
3. Take cash out of ATM, stamp, put back in bank
4. Explain to teller why you did #3
5. Repeat

here's an idea

Fortune Favors the Bold

Why don't we sign up for the study and donate the money to Ron Paul or other Liberty candidates?

Fortune Favors the Bold

I fail to see how

I fail to see how bombarding these people with calls will do anything other than antagonise them. This sort of crap accounts for probably 1/4 of the entire federal budget. Everywhere you look around you is federal waste. I am sure these people are receiving a few hundred thousand dollars that they applied for in a typical federal grant solicitation process. Rather than antagonize them for going after the funds, find out what federal agency is providing the funds and express your displeasure to THEM.

And while you're antagonizing the recipients of federal aid, why not go bug all the old people in your neighborhood and tell them Social Security should be done away with. And then, after you've got the old people pissed off, go hang out at a local college campus and ask every student what constitutional provision there is to allow them to receive federal Pell grants and Stafford loans, and the universities themselves to receive untold millions in federal grants.

My point is that antagonizing people will do nothing for the revolution, but EDUCATING PEOPLE WILL DO WONDERS. Educate first, and let people figure out on their own how the principles we teach can apply to their own lives. It's what Ron Paul would do.
