Already voted? CHECK THIS OUT!
Submitted by lynnopoly on Wed, 02/20/2008 - 00:01Alright! Here is something easy and will help us win some delegates in states yet to vote.
When you become a precinct leader in a state that has already voted there is a new option on the HQ web-site. It's an automated list (very cool) that randomly goes out to Leaders when you log on. You will get a name and phone number of a registered Republican in an upcoming state.
This is what you will see:
A voter name
Phone number/address
Script
Drop Downs to select answers
and a button for "next"
Could not be easier. This is designed to get RP state offices names of potential RP voters to call, and find undecided to follow up on.
I am telling you, it could not be easier! Sign up, if you make 1 call a week or 100 calls a day, it is this effort that will win us votes and delegates!
Here is a screen shot of the screen (top of picture on left, click "full size"):

Here is the script:
(270) 6xx-81xx Voter: xxxxx xxxxxx, 386 xxxxxx RD, SCOTTSVILLE, Kentucky District 1, (Republican)
If you got hung up on, simply write "hung up" on the comment line at the bottom and click "save and do another."
If nobody answered or you couldn't get ahold of the voter, "click here" and skip to the next page:
If the phone number is disconnected or the wrong number, "click here" mark the number invalid and skip to the next page:

Hi, may I please speak with William Dalton?
Hi, William. I'm Lynn with Kentucky Primary Preference Research. Would you be kind enough to participate in a brief survey on the presidential primary? Thank you!
1. I'm going to read you a list of candidates. If the election were held today, which candidate would you likely vote for: (drop down list)
(Read the options in this order)
2. Which three issues are of the greatest importance to you in the upcoming election?
Issue 1: (drop down- select one)
Issue 2: (drop down- select one)
Issue 3: (drop down- select one)
3. I'm going to read a list of statements. Which most closely reflects your opinions of the War in Iraq and the solutions you want from the candidates?
- opposed from the beginning, bring the troops home now
- supported the war but now want it ended as soon as possible
- opposed but now that we're there we need to stay the course
- fully support the war, stay the course
- it's time to deal with Iran
"Thank you so much for your time!" (end of survey)

No one seems to talk about them. I really hope Dr. Paul can get up that way.

YES!!! The precinct program is great! Here in Ohio, I am having a great time calling ...most of the time, people are very friendly, and nicely answer the questions. Occasionally, when the person is talkative, I prod a little further, and we get to talking about Ron Paul...each person I spoke with has been VERY receptive. PLEASE check this out...https://voters.ronpaul2008.com/grassroots/
Ohio has 88 delegates!!! We are the fourth largest state for delegates. Primaries are March 4, same day as Texas.
I heard
From someone who watches tv (not me) that Dr. Paul has 11% in Texas. That sucks. I hate it. I hate it.

Texas
We should all focus on Texas making sure to let them know of Dr. Paul's position on the NAFTA superhighway
Texas
Yeah, good luck winning Texas. Guess what they did here near Houston for Presidents day? They opened a new park and put these big statues of some presidents. They let the residents around here vote online to decide who the greatest presidents are, and freaking BUSH is one of them! Now I have to see this damn giant bust of Bush Jr whenever I drive by there.

Texas is that 25% that thinks Bush is doing a great job. Most SUVs are sold with W04 sticker and yellow ribbon included.
