I am saddened by the fact that to date there are only 53,018 views of this great documentary! It may be preaching to the choir that information like this should be spreading like wildfire, except it it really isn't. More of a trickle. Let's face it, it will be a long time, if ever, before the MSM begins to take us seriously. They have a different agenda mandated by their owners. It is somewhat silly of us to think that we would ever get a fair shake out of them. Fortunately, we have the internet which has proven to be a very good medium to raise money. Unfortunately, the votes we are getting are not in proportion to the money we are raising and can raise in the weeks ahead. Let's change that and WIN!
First, we need to face reality and stop waiting for something to happen. The only way to have something happen for sure is to make it happen yourself. Don't rely on the other person. I was dismayed when I spoke to a business acquaintance of mine in Laredo, Texas that she and everybody in her office had not heard of Ron Paul. Well now she does and she is spreading the word. Freedom is a good idea!
We have very powerful tools that are not beng used very much or at least as much as they can be. With over 70% of the population unhappy with the current situation, based on many polls that I have looked at, the country is ripe for a return to a Constitutional government. The problem is that this idea cannot be explained in a 30 second commercial or radio spot. It takes some thinking, something many Americans don't want to do anymore, easier to let the TV do their thinking for them.
Fortunately, there is a pool of people who do think. Here is where we need to work harder. I have no way of knowing for sure, but I seems that those who actively use email will be more inclined to vote than those couch potatoes who just sit in front of the TV 24-7. An email received from an friend or acquaintance is more likely to be opened and read than an email from a stranger or a spam.
We can easily make a viral campaign simply by sending everybody in your address book a link to any one of the great Ron Paul videos on YouTube, Google and others. Then send a follow up email to confirm that they actually watched the video. This will be a slow process in the beginning, but it will gain momentum quickly if we keep at it. Internet marketing is nothing new and we have done amazyingly well until now, but we should have done more. The resources are already in place to educate the population that counts, those that have an email (and maybe watch some TV) are are more inclined to be voters this fall. The problem is these tools are not being used to their full potential. Lets get the views of the Ron Paul videos up in the millions in the next 60 days. A multi-pronged email campaign can do this, but we need to stick to it. It won't happen ovenight. For some reason Freedom has become a complicated idea for many, but it overpowers everything else, especially slavery.
We also need to some way to count the emails we are sending out so we can measure the effect of a given email against the additional views of a specific video. This is more of an IT thing than I am capable of. Maybe someone would like to help out here. We need a secure data base of people who believe in Freedom and more importantly are willing to do something about it. I know that with a non-stop email campaign to every voter in the USA that has an email and to every non-voter that has an email our ranks will swell to record numbers. We don't have to wring our hands about how we are being ignored by the MSM. We can become the MSM by showing people the truth. Remember they are only the MSM because the population thinks they have no option. Maybe we can set up a Freedom Channel on cable. Lots of things to do an end run around the MSM. We just need to do some brainstorming and then take action.

For many that don't have the time for the complete movie in one sitting YouTube is the better option since you can return to where you left off, segment by segment. On google you need to stop it to take a break. AND if you navigate away from the page it will restart from the beginning. It is completely free now as it should be. Remember, Freedom is much cheaper than slavery. If you don't believe that look at your last paystub and calculate the percentage of your earnings going for taxes to support an undeclared war of aggression.
This won't be that hard to set up and roll out. We should be able to reach over 1 million new people in the first week and then double that every week thereafter if we have a strong cadre of mailers. Remember how Hotmail got going? with a viral campaign before Microsoft bought them? Same deal here with Ron Paul. Lets get the word out to those who count, those who have an email. I can't do this by myself so I am asking for help here to get this rolling. This may be the last chance to do this and I don't want to be able to say I told you so 2 years from now.

My husband and I have given out over 250 copies of A:FTF. We have had people to watch it and not really comment on it. You just have to hand out the DVD and go away feeling like you have done your part. Everybody doesn't want to be awaken. They like living in a dream world, where everything is great. Here in the South, parents teach their kids that Democrats are for the poor and Republicans are for the rich. In other words the Democrats will take care of you, with food stamps and Medicaid and any other handout. So how could the government that takes care of you harm you?

I feverishly every day, copy to blank DVD's that I bought on my own in bulk and pass them out wherever I go and have sent them to family all over the country. It's the least I can do to help in this fight to save the country.

Free Internet Marketing TOOLS we can use to elect Ron Paul
Let's first look at some facts:
1. According to most polls over 70% of all Americans are not satisfied with our current situation. This ranges from the war to the economy and everything in between.
2. That puts the 'dis-satisfaction' meter at about 210 million people.
3. If people decide to vote for the lesser of two evils they are still voting for evil.
4. If these 210 million people know there is a real choice, who will they vote for? That's a trick question.
5. Ron Paul is the only hope for real change in this election cycle. We know that, but the 210 million dis-satisfied people out there do not. Most of them have yet to hear about Ron Paul . . . the MSM remember? We don't want their help, but that would be nice. We just need to replace them. Thank God we have the internet! Now we can do it.
6. If things continue like they are there may not be another election cycle.
WE HAVE TO SPREAD THE WORD LIKE WILD FIRE NOW.
Next to watching the TV most Americans like to chat on the phone. This is where we can make a difference. We need a cadre of presenters to tell the Ron Paul story on the free conference lines that are available on the internet. Just do a Google search and you will see many where we can have as many as 100 people calling in on one call all for FREE. You just fill in the form and 'bam' you have a free conference line that, depending on the service can handle up to 100 callers or more per conference.
Conference calls are just like radio talk shows, but on a much smaller scale. We need to have these calls going all the time. First, we need some good presenters to be the moderator on the call. Then we all email out to our list(s) to advise them of the call schedule. Get a few Ron Paul Calls going every day and evening and watch our numbers swell.
Again, these are just a few of the internet marketing tools at our disposal that will help get Ron Paul elected if we all put them to work

One thing that we can do on these calls is to show everybody how to get a video to play on their computer. This may sound funny to some of you, but I can name a bunch of people who do not how to do this, yet. It seems the internet is for the young or the young at heart. So once they know how to play a video they can teach their friends.
I Guess Freedom isn't for everybody
Scanner313 your experience is not all that unique. I have found that most people would rather just watch their TV where they are told to vote for whatever pretty package appeals to them. The problem is that these pretty packages turn out to be an empty box with nothing but more of the same. Freedom today is thinking out of the box!
Freedom doesn't come cheap, but in the long run it is a lot cheaper than slavery.
Wouldn't it be nice to have a delegate revolt at the convention where the majority of the delegates voted for Ron Paul on the first ballot. This may be a dream, but remember everything that exists today was once somebody's dream first.
So let's all get to work and spread the word to everybody who will listen.
If you are in a situation where there are a bunch of 'doubting Thomas'es' around then start off with a question like, "Which is better Freedom or Slavery?" and go from there.
Tried to watch it with my family this weekend...
and it didn't go well. It was me, my father, my 2 brothers and my siste-in-law.
Let's just say that after about 25 minutes it was clear that they didn't want to watch it anymore. My brother said he was tired, my dad had to do something (he actually did) that dragged him away for about 10 minutes, and my sister-in-law (a real bitch) got bored and decided that she would drag my other brother out of the room with her.
So I turned it off and only my father came back to continue watching it. He said "Is it over?" and I said "No, but nobody was interested so I turned it off". This sparked a reply from my 1 brother (the married one) who got argumentative about the IRS message and how it was getting redundant. I said to him "You mean to tell me that this guy is telling you that the IRS is collecting income taxes from you illegally, and you don't expect a significant amount of proof of it?" So we got into a little heated discussion to where his bitch wife steps back into the room and accuses me of "ruining everyone's good time".
Needless to say I was ready to knock her through the wall, but I just said "You know what? Sorry to have asked so much of you to watch a video with some really serious information in it. Sorry for trying to let you all in on something that might hurt you down the line if you weren't aware of it." And being the bitch that she is, she yells "Do you pay your taxes?" to which I said "Of course I do! If you don't they throw you in jail!"
Needless to say the rest of the conversation wasn't pleasant, but I hate her anyway, so I didn't care.
Anyway, the next day my parents came over my sisters (where I was staying) and he said he felt bad about the previous night, and that I should have given everyone a better intro into what this movie was about and why I wanted everyone to watch it. He said he was interested to see the rest so I gave him a copy of it as well as a copy of "The Money Masters". I also left a copy with my sister who said her and her husband would watch it. My brother (the tired one) also said he would watch it and so I left a copy with him.
My only problem with this is that asking someone to watch it, and them actually doing it are 2 totally different things. I lent a copy to a guy I work with about 2 months ago and he still hasn't watched it even though I constantly ask him if he did. It's crazy!
Anyway, I think this is a great tool, but just make sure you approach it properly when introducing family to it. Hopefully your experience will be better than mine, although it turned out fine in the end.

I've seen it, and I picked up a DVD copy from my Meetup group. Also, the Ludwig von Mises Institute's "Money, Banking, and the Federal Reserve" (produced in late 90's it looks like, but still good) is a good, simple introduction to the whole concept of how our money drifted from REAL money (i.e., gold and silver) to fiat money...also about fractional reserve banking and the truth about the Federal Reserve. Very clear and easy for anyone to understand the situation.
I like another poster's idea, put these fine productions on every cable access station in America!
Who do I contact for the broadcast rights? I'll put these on my local access station.

Google has been caught time and time again resetting and freezing view counts of videos they want censored. Alex Jones has documented several stories on it over the past year or so, and got google to admit some of it's dirty tricks. Don't forget Google also bought Youtube, so they are the same company now, pretty much.
