Here is the thread that was started yesterday. Seeing as the title in that one says tomorrow, it needed a refresh.

Here's the web page to visit, and please watch the clip about one page down from the top where it says Meditation Guide for Ron Paul.

Thanks for thinking about this. :-)

Boy, all over the board here

I've watched (or just listened to)"The Secret" many times.

The law of attraction does work - it works for me all the time.

So, tonight, I meditated and then I prayed.

I saw President Ron Paul being sworn in and was there with my daughter and granddaughter, watching the inauguration. I didn't plan on visualizing being there, but it's what came into my vision.

So, I'll see you in D.C. for the inauguration of President Paul. His lovely wife was holding the bible and I also felt a sense of peace.

Some things are true whether you believe them or not.

silly arguments

Fortune Favors the Bold

if people want to pray or meditate or whatever, why should other people knock it?
I'm not religous, but you know
freedom and all that
I don't think this is really the right place to try to convert people on their religous views

11:01pm...

As the moon starts to emerge from the other side... It sure is beautiful.

For those who are Christians, and this topic feels a little too New Agey or superstitious for you (as it kinda does for me), let it be to you a reminder of God as Creator of the heavens and earth, powerfully and sovereignly setting the sun & the earth and the moon in their places and courses. You can rejoice if you have that mindset. So I'm in. I'm going to take a couple minutes to pray for Dr. Paul, for us, for the country. Pray for our enemies. etc.

Vijay.

I focused on the three winners this year...

President Paul, Congressman Paul, and the Ron Paul r3VOLution.

I watched the moon flow in and out of darkness and asked God that our trinity be winners...for the sake of our country...for liberty...because we want it so badly...and that our countrymen will WAKE UP.

It was a pure pleasure being of one mind with you all!

faith

God says to pray with faith

Eclipse is near 50% here.

Out my back deck @ -14c ( 6.8f for you americans) the eclipse is looking fine at this hour. Knowing thousands are looking at the same thing and support Ron Paul works for me.

Canuck for Ron Paul

that 'secret' video is very uplifting, whether you believe it or not. I don't necessarily believe the way they explain it, but I have noticed throughout life that if you think good things, good things happen to you. I do meditate, it really calms me down when I get stressed.

....

Just positive thinking toward Ron Paul & the Revolution Campaign!

Obama = O.ne B.ig A.ss M.istake A.merica

COOL!!!!.........

I guess I better start getting out the bag of bones to roll as well. Maybe that will tell me who the next globalist president is that we'll get? Maybe we should have a big fire dance for Ron Paul as well?.....I'll bring the tom-toms!......geeze.

"This nation will remain the land of the free only so long as it is the home of the brave."

Or possibly we should pray...

No wait.. I'm not Christian.

Sorry.. since you seem to be in the know as to what would be the acceptable way to help the good Doctor spiritually, can you tell me? I'd hate to think that I'd be using the wrong religion to wish someone well!

I don't meditate, btw... but I'm not going to make fun of someone who believes such.

Neither would Ron Paul.

It's sad

that we're backing Ron Paul, a guy that firmly believes that another person's spiritual beliefs are thier own... yet a thread on meditation here is half-full of people bashing another's beliefs.

Disagree

They only thing you need to believe to be a libertarian is that you shouldn't use force against someone except in self-defense, NOT that we should not speak out against what we be believe to be irrationalism and mysticism.

If we need to "respect peoples beliefs," do you "respect" McCain's militarism or Hillary/Obama's socialism so you never speak out against it?

I agree

very sad.

Did you know

That the Magi were astrologers? Did you know that Astrology was practiced among the ancient Hebrews?

An informed and scientific

An informed and scientific view? Funny how fast people fall back into superstition and mystery religions when they turn their back on the Bible.

Or...

You could have instead have paid attention to the Bible quote from the very page I linked to:

From the page linked herein:
Mark 11:24

"Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer
(meditation), believe that you have received it, and it will be yours"

From the online KJV I found quickest:
"Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them."

Prayer is not meditation

To pray is to speak...to meditate is to listen

Um...

...have you read the Bible? The Bible is full of references to astrology! It kills me how many Christians think that any study of Gods works (Nature) is evil, though the entire faith was based upon such. "He who believeth in my miracles shall perform greater works than these" seems to only be taken seriously by people of superstition and mystery school...makes you wonder who truly gives ear to the words of Christ...

Apparently not you.

To study nature in hopes of gaining mystical knowledge or foresight (Such as studying the guts of frogs) is called paganism. To think that astrology is some form of fortune telling power that we are endowed with is to deny the sovereignty of God. This is why witchcraft used to be a capital offense.....it's satanic. Of course studying his creation will teach man allot about the CHARACTER of it's Creator, but when you claim to be gaining some mystical power out of God's natural order, you are simply acting as a pantheistic pagan. I have nothing against people who do this (however philosophically refutable it is) but just don't act like you are in any way aligning yourself with scripture or Christ. I know this kind of hocus-pocus is quite popular these days (people's hearts are designed to worship and heathen religions have allot less rules) but when you have a solid, historically and philosophically cogent special Revelation-divinely inspired by an all-sovereign, omnipotent and benevolent God, doing something like holding a crystal to purify your "aura" just seems a little silly to me in comparison. To worship nature is just as much idolatry as worshiping man.....both are an apostasy and both are responsible for the ever-corrupting, humanist Government we have had since 1860.

Like I said, whatever floats your boat or finds your lost remote, just don't align your self with Christianity when you practice paganism.

peace.

"This nation will remain the land of the free only so long as it is the home of the brave."

"This is why witchcraft used

"This is why witchcraft used to be a capital offense.....it's satanic"

Wow... do people still think this way? What year is this?

What -is- "satanic" is the abuse of the "witchcraft" label to justify killing another human being. Very few of those who were killed for their "witchcraft" during the 1600s actually performed it. Really, the label was used as a means to an end. Not much different from how some now abuse the "terrorist" label. Our government hunts for "terrorists" among our own people as if they were the "witches" of old.

I asked if you had read the

I asked if you had read the Bible, not listened to sermons about it. I assure you that I have indeed read the Bible a great many times front to back and have been studying theosophy religiously (no pun intended) for about 14 years. Pagan (From the Latin Paganus meaning Villager or Countryside inhabitant) is simply a catch all term for those who do not accept church dogma without question as "Conspiracy Theorist" is an exclusionary term for non-mainstream subjects of study.
Moses parted the Red sea. A great number of Saints have exhibited powers granted to them throughout history, and yet you would discount their studious achievements as flukes from some cosmic bingo game where some are simply chosen? This goes against the teachings of Christ. Christ did not teach to put the responsibility of your achievements or lack thereof on the shoulders of God. "Seek and ye shall find". "Knock and the door shall open". Sound familiar?
If you read the Bible it only talks badly of 2 forms of mysticism: Mediumship (The surrender of the Body Altar to foreign spirits) is denounced in the story of the Witch of Endor, and the sorcerers of Egypt who claimed their power came from themselves rather than God. Other forms of mystical knowledge are praised throughout the Bible, as are the true followers of Pagan faiths.
Jesus Himself said to a Centurion (A Pagan), "Verily I say unto you, I have not found such great faith, even in Israel. And I say unto you that many shall come from the east and west and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven."
The Bible says that it is in vanity that one judges the beliefs of another without bearing firsthand witness, and urges Christians to attend the rites of other faiths to "Test whether the spirits present are of God".
Have another look into the Bible and read it for what it says rather than what you've been told it means and you will find a number of blatant discrepancies between the teachings of Church (The politicians of religion) and the actual source. Suicide for example was written about several times in the Bible without condemnation, but with the churches main revenues being tithes (Taxes) every head of cattle counts, and it was thus reformed into a great sin by the church. The Catholic Church waged a propaganda war against Pagans that still clouds religious history today. The Bible describes Satan as a red dragon with seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. The propaganda of the church reformed the image of Satan to the half man, half goat likeness of Pan, one of the most common symbols of God within Pagan faiths.
I have a tremendous amount of respect for the Bible now that I can read it without a pastor reading over my shoulder...it is much like the Constitution for me in the regard that it holds an inherent wisdom that can teach the proper way to be and act, but it must hold personal Truth for the reader or it becomes bondage, and there are always those willing to bind others to their service.

Well

To worship nature is just as much idolatry as worshiping man.....both are an apostasy and both are responsible for the ever-corrupting, humanist Government we have had since 1860.

I'd have to say that was a little provincial... keep in mind, there are other and older religions than Christianity. One could argue that the spread of Christianity has done more damage to the world than good, after all. Just because it has been well-funded over the years does not make it universally correct.. unless you are leaning towards a theocratic nation...
