Generation war

The way I see it, the looming financial crisis isn't going to be the half of it.

As the wealth transfer starts to happen between Generation X and Y to the baby boomer generation who presided over the greatest missteps in American foreign policy, and as more and more of our generation wielding the coercive force of government, I see the future throwing out the entire system, and with it, the older generation onto their ears.

Part of the problem is the

whole elite's plan of family planning. We are so used to it now, that we consider it normal, that of not having many children. There was a time many years ago that children were considered a blessing. But now it is considered "irresponsible" to have many children. The elite has for years tried, and succeeded in convincing us that we must not have too many, if any. The people who had a lot of children should have no problem, they have plenty of children to help them when they get old.

I don't want to see anyone

I don't want to see anyone thrown out on their ear, but it's going to happen anyway. The market can't handle it, and we will be in soup lines, so how can we help?

Mathew 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

Should really think about getting ready for charity hospitals. These folks will be screwed. I agree, a generational war is possible. Check out Germs, Guns, and Steel: How Societies Choose to Fail. Also, we need an alternative to debt slavery to the social security interest payments.

Hate to agree but...

I fear you're right. I'm not sure that I'm into throwing blame on an entire generation, but it's a FACT that the government is currently shelling out $27,000 per person over 65 years of age. Doesn't bode well for us younger folks considering that figure will only balloon as the baby boomers retire. No doubt about it that the younger generation will pay for all the missteps of the boomers.
On a related note, for those of you who watched Obama's tent revival speech last night, he shrewdly bought off the old people last night. He promised to raise taxes on families making over 75k (the bulk of productive people in this country) but will exempt seniors. A very savvy move.

These problems could have been fixed long ago.

It seems to me that they want the program to fail. Minor adjustments years ago would have made the world of difference now. I can't believe that they didn't know how much this was going to cost in the end. They had to have figured in baby booms, etc. They should have saved every dime paid in and invested it. They spent the money. It's a Ponzi scheme.
