Congressional Debate Faux Pas...?!?!?!?!?!?

I just read on Google News that RP REFUSED to debate Peden in his US House race! I understand being unhappy about the way that SOB entered the race...but it gives the MSM a BIG weapon to use against him! I think that was a BIG political mistake!

No reason for him to debate Peden though.. Peden needs to debate himself, as Paul says in the vid on that thread. After all, he seems to be the one with two different viewpoints.

Ron Paul has nothing to gain from taking Peden to school for an hour or two on a debate stage. If Peden had anything like a substantial point to make, he can do it on his own web site.

Why give Piddle the face time and the honor of sharing a stage with Ron Paul? It is a strategic decison, and it is the right one. The same reason McCain refused to attend next week's MSNBC debate: he did not think it would help him to debate Paul and Huck (and he is of course right!). What will Ron Paul gain by debating this Piddle guy? Nothing.

This Peden schmuck would get free air time that way, RP has the cash and the prior name recognition. Why give Peden an free hour to misrepresent Dr. Paul.

Lol, use the Neocon strategy against Peden...just pretend to the public that Peden doesn't exist!

Remember, the CD14 is one place where Ron Paul doesn't need additional name recognition, they know who he is!

On the other hand he could easily sink Peden...I don't trust Peden to be respectable nor honest, let alone a media outlet
