What does it mean to the Ron Paul campaign that all of Ohio's delegates are not legally pledged?

is this true??

did we get any delegates for Ohio??

anyone from ohio or know any one there??

there are quite a few delegates from that state..I think like 88

It means that if Ron Paul

It means that if Ron Paul does not win the state of Ohio's popular vote, the delegates can still vote for him at the convention. They can vote for anyone on the first ballot and are not bound to any candidate. The same can be said for Pennsylvania's delegates. No matter who wins in PA, the delegates can vote for any candidate.

That means that any delegate

That means that any delegate that is voted to go to the national convention is not bound to vote for the winner of the state on any ballot therefore they can vote for whom they wish on the very first ballot in September.

See my post here on the delegate process.

Yeah But

How many Ron Paul delegates are out there that arededicated to the cause? I would imagine McCain delegates have infiltrated the system.
