that incident could have been a couple of hothead local cops out of control or even having existing bad relationships with those neighborhood protesters. I used to live right on that park and there were often personal antagonisms between local "anarchists" and police. I'm not sure that was some sort of higher-up ordered interference. Could be, but not for sure.
I can also tell you that was simply a "nothing" compared to what went on in the 1980's at that place. Nothing.

This is very important
At the Freedom Rally, it is very important not to allow physical conflict.
Do not resist.
Take abuse, there will be enough vidoe cameras there let any confrontation be one sided.
Don't verbally abuse them.
Just like this video there will be groups and or "law" enforcement that wants to spur conflict.
Do not let them have victory.
Just my thoughts.
