Ron Paul backs out of Energy Summit?

0 votes

I receive daily Google alerts on Ron Paul, and today there is an article written by the Houston Chronicle www.chron.com that Dr. Paul has withdrawn from the Houston Energy Summit. The last I heard, only Dr. Paul and Hillary Clinton had accepted the invitation. He is quoted as saying that since there will not be a debate, it is more important that he stay in D.C. and vote on issues. Has anyone heard about this from another source? It is still listed on the campaign website as an event (as of 12:15 PM EST) If Dr. Paul has withdrawn, I am very disappointed that his supporters did not receive an update in a timely manner, rather than having to see it on Google. But, maybe it is not true. . . . . Does anyone have the scoop?

I care

for the simple reason that it is good to know what is happening in the campaign. I trust Dr. Paul completely in making right decisions, but since it is posted on the campaign site, I think it should be updated.

Who cares

It was just going to be him and Hitlery. He'd rather vote on things that matter.
